“Great location - TERRIBLE SERVICE!!”

If you are looking for a hotel for location then this is the one, hop step and jump from 3 major shopping centers, monarail, and food. One thing to keep in mind is that the service is terrible! Upon checkin there was only 1 person at reception serving while 2 other stood around talking. Infront of the 1 person serving was a que of 5 people who I joined having to wait 30 mins with my wife 9 month baby and 2 children (5 and 4). Room was nice and comfortable, clean and spacious. Upon calling for breakfast we requested 2 serves of Muesli for children. They did not have any left. We then requested cornflakes. They did not have any left. We asked what cerial they did have which they replied only cocopops and since we dont let the children eat sugar serials we requested toasted plate which arrived 40 minutes later.....BURNT. Breakfast cerial was not available the entire stay. Every call to reception was never answered unless you sat on the phone for 10 minutes waiting. Upon checkout with 4 suitcases, 4 travel bags, a baby car seat, and 3 children we had to wait 40 minutes before a porter could come up to assist with bags. I can assure you that we will never stay at Federal again no matter how good the location was.

“My Disappoinment Stay At Fedearal Hotel.”

I checked into the hotel very late at night (about 23:00) and asked the reception staff if I could check out late as my flight was not until 23:50 the next night. He said no. Check out time was 1pm. Every hour I overstayed I would have to pay extra. Other hotels, eg The Grand Millenium, would let me check out at 6pm with no extra charge. Also, the tone of his voice was not friendly like as if I was a nuisance. The hotel was very noisey at night with the outside noise from Jalan Bukit Bintang clearly heard. I had trouble sleeping until after 2am and got woken up at about 7am. No more Federal Hotel and I will let my friends know.
