The hotel is perfect in every way.Posted Sep 16, 2014
Location: Mainly shopping in this area. Access to little India, Chinatown and some sightseeing areas accessed easily by taxi for approx 10AUS.
We only stayed for 2 nights as a stopover from Australia to the UK and it was not long enough. We would definitely stay here again.

Great view of Petronas twin towers!Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Well equipped gym, great location for shopping, decent breakfast buffet, great view of twin towers
Cons: Too many lights in the rooms! Wish there was a master switch to kill all the lights...
Location: Petronas twin towers, aquarium, Bukit Bintang
Had a great stay here. The staff are very (sometimes, overly) friendly, the room is big on luxury, and the gym and swimming pool are really nice. The gym is very well equipped with machines, free weights, medicine balls, yoga mats, and, of course, treadmills. Tried the breakfast buffet one morning and was impressed by the spread. Fresh made pancakes were decent, as were the omelets coming out of the egg station. Only big disappointment was the smoked fish - tasted old and slightly rancid. I reckon they don't go through it all that fast. No big deal, though. The hotel is located near the twin towers and Bukit Bintang. It's also close to the Sky Bar in Trader's Hotel, but honestly, the view is much better from the hotel lobby. Highly recommended, especially for anyone who wants a decent gym when travelling.

Unusual But Interesting ConceptPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Being new, things were still clean and sparkling. Lobby and spa area offered apples in a bowl - I got my daily fibre fix :) Overall had a good stay .
Cons: Perhaps a chillout bar on the ground floor for stay in guests would be attractive.
Location: It is about 7 mins walk via connected underpass to KLCC & about the same time to get to Pavilion via overhead bridge. Both ends offer good shopping.
What surprised us was that the hotel Lobby was on the top floor - 39th. Getting to our room and down to the ground floor needed some planning. Anyway hotel had an understated luxury . Room was spacious including the bathroom which had 2 entrances - means we can do a merry go round without bumping into our partner. Hyatt brand is synonymous with class and service - am glad it did not disappoint.

Nice Hotel near KLCCPosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Thirty 8 restaurant / Spacious room / walk-in closet / the restroom privacy glass
Cons: Wi fi connection / service staff can do much better in terms of attentiveness / increased Bed sheets thread count
Location: Near to KLCC
There is nothing to comment about this hotel as it lifts up to it's name as Grand Hyatt. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and was pleased with everything.

Best Hotel in KLPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The spectacular pool, location in KLCC
Location: Shopping and restaurants at Suria KLCC and Pavillion Bukit bintang. Night fountains
Just spent 11 nights at the Grand Hyatt with our 3 years old daughter. It is a fantastic 5 star hotel located in the new KL City Centre district. The hotel rooms start on the 18th floor, so great views from all rooms, but we booked a tower view room which overlooked the petronas towers and KLCC park, which was worth the extra cost. You check in on the 39th floor which makes for a 'wow' check-in to the hotel, but means changing lifts to access you room, ( a minor inconvenience). The staff are all very friendly and courteous and there lots of little touches, like fresh fruit and food gifts in the room. If you forget anything, they have it. Either to borrow or some items they just give to you. Free wifi all around the hotel and your room is a bonus. The pool is spectacular and we spent lots of time there, they serve complimentary drinks and popcorn alot of the time, but you can order drinks and food at anytime. They had pool toys and arms bands for our 3yr old which she enjoyed. Breakfast is a vast buffet of different cuisines and you are in the 'thirtyeight' restaurant with 360 degree views of KL. The rooms are modern design with bathroom integrated in a modern style. The location is a easy walk to KLCC suria shopping centre and fountains display at night or the other way to Bukit bintang and close to jalan P ramlee night spots. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 12 days there. highly recommended.

Excellent service and locationPosted Jun 28, 2014
Although I wasn't too fond of Kuala Lumpur overall due to many reasons...this hotel was exceptional! Staff are always well presented and attentative, whenever a question was asked about tourism in KL, it would be answered appropriately. Service was excellent at the restaurant and bars in the hotel. Absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel, I've stayed at many hotels and must say that this was one of my favourite and most comfortable stays.
