“Hotel Equatorial”

Excellent hotel, the staff are always on hand and happy bend over backwards to help you in any way that they can. The rooms are comfortable and have everything that you require from shower to tea service. Night life is a 5 minute walk around the corner, couldn't ask for more than that. Excellent choice of food in the restaurants although I found the prices a little expensive compared to restaurants in the surrounding area and Bintang. On the down side, the room although having a view of sorts of the Petronas towers, was very noisy with a building site right opposite the building and work starting at 8:30 every morning until late. The breakfast had a great deal of choice from local cuisuine to continental but I found that the Nasi Lemak was cold on the morning we did venture to breakfsat in the hotel.

“Perfect Hotel”

This was a great hotel, the price was excellent. It is downtown Kuala Lumpur very close to the Twin Towers and the KL Tower. The SkyTrain is at the corner of the hotel. Walking distance to tall the shopping area such as the big mall, Pavilion, Lot 10 and many many more. The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, fantastic gym with steam room and sauna, nice pool. I would definitely stay there again.

“Best place for a stop over to revive yourself”

This hotel was such a treat. We were traveling from Perth to Ireland, and took a one night stop in KL. The service was impecable. The room was large, clean, comfortable and had everything you could ask for in a modern hotel. It was even a novelty that we could see the Petronas Towers from our room. The swimming pool was a great way to unwind, the gym and spa facilites were a great extra and all the staff were so helpful and gracious. Upon check out they recommend how we sight see for the day, then before our evening flight we were offered the chance to change a and shower after our days outing, which realy made a difference before a long flight. I would deffinalyy stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

“Great place to stay for F1 weekend”

My son and I stayed at the Equatorial for the 2010 F1 GP. Several organised F1 tours use the hotel. The hotel was really well into the F1 experience with displays, a Lotus on the front steps, the bar fully decorated for F1 etc. The overall quality is high, but the outside looks a little dated. It has some very exclusive and expensive retaurants, expect to find the locals there with exotic cars outside. The location is good, 2 minutes from a monorail station and 10 minutes walk to the Petrona Twin Towers and huge KLCC shopping mall. Lots of good value bars and restaurants near by.

Hotel is an easy walk to everything The pool is great. plenty of places to eat at night whether you want to eat at the street places or not far from there is a street that has great places to eat and the bars and night life is all there it is full of expats. Take a ride on the mono rail you get to a lot more of KL and is cheaper than a taxi. To avoid the expense of a taxi to the airport and get that extra sleep time go to KL Central there you can check in and get the express train to yhe airport. We've done this twice and its a great way to avoid airport ques.

Fabulous location. I feel that this hotel is the best for the price. It isn't 5-star, but with this price, you can't beat it.

I wasn't sure what I was going to get because I got such a great discount, but I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel all-around. The service was superior, and my room was comfortable and clean.
