“Good value for the price”

I would recommend this hotel as it was great value for the cheaper price. The hotel staff was very courteous. They organised a taxi driver for us to visit the Batu Caves and negotiated a cheap price and for the driver to wait 2hrs at the caves before driving us back. At check-in they had a mix-up as we entered a room that someone else already had, but they were quick to fix it and very apologetic. The location was great, within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see in KL.

in the heart of the city, near to the skytrain, Petronas tower, communication tower, shopping centers, Good mass traffic posibility to little India and China quartail and other shopping centers.

“Staff poorly trained to deal with "abnormal situations"”

I had several issues with staff who were poorly trained to deal with situations not in the ordinary course. Overall, they were friendly, but several miscommunications amongst them caused small glitches every now and then.

The hotel was very good. Good location and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very good. The only negative would be the high cost of internet in your room.

“Good choice in KL”

This is a nice hotel, in fact it is an apartment with complete kitchen, so it is very useful with you need to prepar some sandwish or fastfood by yourself. I stayed there just for two nights, I can't say much. The breakfast is include in the rate but is not worth due to you have little choice of food.

“Five star stay at four star prices”

Equatorial is a good hour away from KL International airport. But it is an excellent hotel, well maintained. The staff were very courteous. Our bed quite firm, the way we like it. The room is well maintained except for water damage to the finish on the back of the bath door. Water bottles are $4.5 in the room, 50 cents outside! Wi-Fi is not free. For the price it is an excellent hotel.

“Great location”

I found this hotel on other websites first but checked with Expedia and found lowest rate on Expedia. The hotel is a few steps from the Rara Chulan Monorail station. I walked to the Bukit Bintang area, the Petronas, and the Menara KL Tower from the hotel. I stayed in a room on the front side of the hotel and saw the reflection of the Petronas on the glass of a building across street. I would stay at this hotel again.

“Living here again next time”

Before arriving to Kuala Lumpur,I booked a standard room from this hotel,I arrived in the hotel at ten o'clock on August 20,than the check-in time 2 hours ahead of schedule,but the services still check in for me.Although my English is limited, but she was able to quickly understand what I mean, just a few minutes to completed the process,and be same as in check out.The location of this hotel away from the city center close.The room have a large space and comfortable environment,clean and facilities.In this hotel, I spent a pleasant day. I'll stay here again.

The hotel is a bit old and not as glitzy as some of the new ones, but service is good and rooms are clean and nice.
