“KL's best hotel”

I spent about 4 nights at this hotel and I am very satisfied with the service and the comfort of the room. The staffs are very friendly and they remember your name and your needs. I will stay at this hotel again.

Impeccable service and facilities. Close to Klcc. Home away from home and child friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and def return there again.

“Great Location”

We are American expats living in Sumatra. We took a weekend trip to KL to celebrate my 40th birthday. We stayed in the Mandarin Oriental and enjoyed the hotel which is in a great location for shopping, dining and visiting the Petronas Towers. It was a quick visit, so we really only used the room. We did not eat in the hotel. There are so many restaurant options nearby that we wanted to try. The Sukria Mall is next door which has great restaurants and a Cold Storage grocery store. The hotel left a yummy chocolate dessert for me on my birthday.

The was nothing we could fault with this Hotel it was first class in all aspects of service with excellent staff all creating a very friendly and relaxed ambience which resulted in a wonderful holiday.

From the moment I checked in, I noticed that the level of hospitality at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur was a cut above the rest. Staff were eager to help you - a small example: on a couple of occasions I asked where things were in the hotel; staff would stop what they were doing and guide you right to your destination, making sure you got there. Little things like that really made for an excellent stay. PROS: - The hotel is excellently located. Right next to KLCC. - The pool is beautiful, especially considering it is a city hotel. - The staff were all extremely polite and eager to make your stay comfortable. - The room I was in had an excellent view of the park and the twin towers. CONS: - The area around the hotel is currently under construction (written Nov 2010). This means the facade of the hotel is hidden by various equipment and to get out of the hotel by foot is a bit of a labyrinth (you essentially have to walk through a construction site) unless you head straight into the KLCC shopping center. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay in the Mandarin Oriental again. In fact it will most likely be my first choice when I go back to KL next.

“Amazing Hotel, Everyone should Go”

I like the hotel because it is 1 min. walk to the twin tower where you can do shopping and have your meal and drink a coffe. the hotel is amazing, the room is facing the twin tower and you feel pleased by staying there..

This hotel was amazing. Starting from the arrivals lobby at K.L airport right until they dropped us off at departures. The hotel had everything you could possibly need. It was luxurious and comfortable with a big bathroom, fantastic views of the Twin Towers and amazing service. The staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. We didn't have to lift a finger....and when we needed something (like our iced water refilled beside the pool) it was already done. I loved every minute and didn't want to leave.

Incredibly cheap for a hotel of this quality, everything about it is top notch.
