“Incredible Value for Money”

Booked on top of my KL flights with expedia for an additional £40 per night this was perhaps the best value for money purchase i have made, the quality of the hotel and the service it provided left me feeling embarassed at just how little i actually paid to stay here. The hotel industry seems very competitive in KL but you certainly can't go wrong here, any problem you have will be solved by numerous capable staff on hand 24/7. If i ever return to KL i know where i shall by staying and i will be hapilly recommending it to others too. The actual location within the city centre is not ideal, pedestrian access in and around the hotel is not great but that is a common theme to be honest with regards to the whole of the city. It's within a 5 minute walk to common attractions such as the Petronas towers and the Menara tower, it also has numerous top class restaruants within a couple of minutes walk such as a Nando's straight across the road.

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon as a city fix. The hotel was fab, we were in the orchid club level, which gave you great benefits during our stay. Def a good choice for great value. Maria

The hotel is in an excellent location, with many surrounding shopping centres and a nearby monorail station. Our room was clean and we had great service.

This hotel is ideal for someone wanting to be in the centre of the shopping district. Everything is so close. The hotel is lovely, rooms excellent and the staff very pleasant and helpful.

I was very happy with our hotel choice. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great and everything we had to eat at the hotel was of a high standard. We had a small problem with the shower head but once we informed the concierge it was fixed by the time we returned to our room that afternoon. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Cannot give enough praise for this hotel. Location for shopping great,4 big centers around hotel. Monorail close by, hop on/off bus 1 block up street. service/staff/facilities excellent. We will definitely go back to the hotel on our next trip to KL. It is about a 45min trip from airport to hotel by taxi. We took the tour up to Genting highlands-site of Malaysia's only Casino -3 hour bus ride but worth the trip - has fantastic theme parks indoor & outdoor for kids & if you are lucky to get a clear day view would be fabulous. Cable car wasn't running on the day we went which was disappointing. Visit chocolate factory on the way. If you want to go up twin towers you have to get there very early 6am on the day as there are only 300 tickets sold per day. Central market & China town are places to visit for cheap souvenirs, be sure to bargain hard. Taxi's are very cheap for transport.

“Fabulous KL hotel!”

Fantastic hotel, great location - right in the shopping district and close to the monorail. Stayed in a deluxe room which was beautiful and great value for money. The pool was also lovely and a nice respite from the heat. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to visitors to KL. I could not fault this hotel!

“Parkroyal Hotel with "orchard club" upgrade”

This trip to KL we decided to again stay at the Parkroyal as it is a very central located hotel in a good district for shopping, restaurants and things to see and do. We decided to upgrade to the "Orchard Club" which proved to be excellent decision. The Hotel, since we stayed last time, has had an extensive upgrade to the rooms and other facilities and now has a very high standard of luxury, convenience and functionality especially in the rooms allocated to the "orchard club". We cannot comment to other rooms in Hotel. Rooms are very large with king bed and wonderful bathroom facilities, plenty of hanging space, cupboards & drawers etc with colour TV, tea& coffee making facilities, fridge, excellent lighting. Orchard Club upgrade is worth the extra money. Large Club lounge has magazines & newspapers and TV and also mid-day snacks, fresh fruits, juices, coffee between 12noon & 5pm. Cocktails, beverages & canapes from 6pm to 7.30pm and Breakfast between 7am & 11am. Lounge open 7am to 11 midnight. Guests also have complimentary pressing (2pieces) or laundry services (2 pieces) 2 pieces per day which we used and was an excellent efficient service and worth having. A lot of extras avaialbe with Orchard Club for only a moderate extra charge. Only negative is no guests Sauna but Hotel is further upgrading a building next to hotel which hotel owns and this will include a guest sauna and other sports & recreational facilities we were advised.
