Nice Hotel overall

Posted Sep 28, 2014
We booked club room including buffet breakfast. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is a short drive to klcc / twin towers. There is a monorail station next to it and you can be minutes away from pavilion mall and shopping district.

Hotel is great including staff, very spacious.

No major issues, maybe the complimentary van to shopping centre should be more regular and has a return trip too.

Comfortable stay

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Close to monorail so easy to get to Bukit Bintang. A little noise from lower floors sometimes, maybe night club. But it may be due to the independent day event. The room and facilities were clean and well-maintained and view from room is quite good. Overall, we quite enjoyed our stay.

Out of way location

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: friendly staff comfortable rooms
Location: There were no decent dining options within walking distance Area feels a little isolated
Staff were helpful Good idea to have coffee machine at entrance of hotel where you can grab a decent coffee on departure. Traffic into town at 815 in morning was ok and relatively uncongested

Wifi should be free

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Stay there for 2 days. The room are facing to the entertainment street. You can hear a very loud music sound in the mid night. The wifi should be free instead of chargeable.

Great hotel with view of Petronas Towers

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Big room, walk in robe, big shower, great pool area, view of Petronas tower, comfy bed
Cons: Make non-smoking mean that smoking cannot occur in that space - easy really!
Location: Not a lot nearby but taxis are crazy cheap in KL so for less than $5 AUD you could get to Chinatown, Downtown etc.
There is not a lot to complain about with this hotel. The rooms were large and fancy although a few things didn't work (bath plug wouldn't stay down, bathroom door handle come off). The biggest issue that we had was that we stayed on a non-smoking floor and each day in the corridors we could smell cigarette smoke, and on our last day the smoke smell had come into our room. We did tell the staff at the front desk and they promised to do something about it. The restaurant was great (we only had breakfast) and the cafe on the ground floor was cheap and cheerful for breakfast and lunch.

Family of 7

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: I don't normally stay at top end hotels but I did like the feeling of being pampered!
Cons: The decor may be getting a little dated but it wasn't old by any means.
Location: Shopping malls close, plenty of different restaurants, Petronas Towers easy walk
Our family group stayed at the Sheraton in KL for 4 days in July and we were looked after really well. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for us, and taxis are so cheap in KL we were able to get around without any problems. What I liked was spending the day out in the KL heat and humidity knowing that I had a cool and very comfortable room to go to at the end of the day.

Nice Hotel with a Nice Club Lounge

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: We really liked the Club Room and Club Lounge.
Cons: We feel that Housekeeping could improve their service.
Location: Location was not near any shopping malls, but taxis were easily available and reasonably cheap to travel to various Shopping Malls.
We stayed 7 days at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel from 9-16 July. We had a Club Room with access to the Club Lounge. We found the Hotel was very nice, room was large. The pool area is lovely, but we did not use the pool. The Hotel is not near any shops, but taxis are available and should cost approximately 12-15 Ringitt to the Pavillion Shopping Mall. It was Ramadam when we visited and we found that the Restaurant/Coffee Shop in the Hotel was booked out every night, hence, we then decided to make a booking at least 2 days before visiting the Restaurant. There was mainly a Buffet but you could also have A La Carte. The Buffet was mainly Malay/Indian food. The Club Lounge was lovely with alcoholic drinks and canapes served from 5.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., but you could obtain a non alcoholic drink and coffees at any time during the day. They also served a Continental Breakfast if you did not want to eat the Buffet breakfast in the Restaurant. The only problems we found at the Hotel were with Housekeeping. They could NOT seem to get the amount of bath towels correct in our bathroom and every single day we would have to call Housekeeping or tell Reception that we were 3 people in the room so we could receive 3 bath towels, 3 handtowels, 3 face washers. With In Room Dining, we found that the staff could not understand properly and hence we had to repeat and repeat our orders to them. We found it quite amusing. But we would stay at this Hotel again.
