“Very Pleased”

You never know what you will get when you find a hotel online, but this one was exactly like the pictures. It was clean, the service was good, and the staff were very helpful with giving directions and suggesting cheap and safe transportation. We paid $5 per night more for the Premiere deluxe room, which allows access to the business lounge with computers for checking email. It was well worth the convenience of not having to bring the laptop. Breakfast was fair, although it was very busy so people had to wait for a table at times. Having access to the business lounge is also a plus, since they have a continental breakfast there as well. We chose to eat there 2 of the 3 mornings we were there since it was almost empty and there was a TV so we could watch the news while we had breakfast.

“Great hotel, great location near Butik Bintang, Kuala Lumpur's shopping district”

Overall the hotel was excellent, well-deserving of the high praise it receives on many travel websites. Our room was as pictured/described on the website, we reserved a room on a higher floor so we could also have access to the eLounge for free Internet each day. As part of our room stay booked through Expedia we received vouchers for the breakfast buffet each morning. Good choices and good food. The only negative for us was the Activites desk. On arrival we wanted to visit a particular area so asked the Activities desk to get us a taxi. He told us he was getting us a great "deal" as it would normally be 25 ringgit, we would only have to pay 22. After we were dropped off in totally the wrong location, we found out from a street taxi driver that the ride, if metered, would only have cost about 11 ringgit. We talked to the Activities desk person on our return to the hotel and he proceeded to throw what I can only call a hissy fit. We also asked the cost for transport to the airport and were told 130 ringgit EACH. We had already booked our total travel to the airport and paid less than 20 ringgit each. DO NOT USE THE ACTIVITIES DESK - it is a blatant rip-off and a terrible blemish on an otherwise excellent hotel.

“Kuala Lumpur the tourist city of the future”

We were pleased with everything on our holiday the malaysian airline are a pleasure to travel with the hotel in Kuala Lumpur was better than expected The breakfast were excellent , had breaky all nine days large choice of food. We had not been to KL before so the first day we used the Hop on Hop off bus service to familiarize ourself with the city and the tourist spots. Used the malaysian Tourist Bureau for a day trip to Malaca (worth seeing) Went to the Bird park ,the Orchid park , Butterfly park all in same area . Used Hop on Hop off bus for Transport. Went to the aquarium and was very impressed,Tunnel from aquariumto city centre and the Twin Towers. The rest of the trip we shopped until we dropped ie China Town twice,Central markets Twice, the rest of the time shopped arround the Golden Triangle Jalan Bukit and Bintang jalan where we also ate at night mainly at a Irish Pub called Donavons. The nine days was just enough to see everthing in Kual Lumpur.I wish to thank EXPEDIA for their involment in setting up our holiday

“great stay”

The only thing to complain about was some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom (which may be difficult to contain in such climate). Location is convenient (15 min on foot to Chinatown and central market, 5 min on foot to the nearest monorail station). Buffet breakfast is excellent with a great variaty of choices (but mostly not local food). Didn't try swimming pool because it opens rather late and closes rather early (8 am to 8 pm). Staff was helpful. Overall, a great stay.

“Was pleasantly surprised”

This hotel is very centrally located. We could easily walk to most attractions in the inner core city. We were pleasntly surprised by the quality and the ammenities offered in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The bar was great, relaxing and comfortable and had some good background music.

“Would stay at Swiss Garden Hotel KL AAAGAIN”

Friendly and very helpful employees. Near Food, Chinatown, Timesquare and shopping. Far enough from Taffic and close enough to Main Bus Station to travel to other Cities in Malaysia.
