“Arguably the best hotel in its category in Kuala Lumpur!”

Traders was my first choice when booking online, after staying there the first night I didn't want to leave! I did stay at a few other hotels of similar rating in Kuala Lumpur but Trader's certainly stood out. The service is exceptional, the staff are well presented and display a great attitude. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. A short distance from KLCC, a beautiful park as their backyard, overlooking the KL tower and the Petronos Twin towers- the views were certainly breath taking! Service was fantastic and the staff were happy to customise services to suit my needs. Food exceptional, they certainly make the best steaks in town! What more can i say? Excellent value for money, I would certainly go back! And I did :)

We have been to KL a few times and stayed at other places, but this one beats them all. The view of the towers is hands down the best, enough to make you want to stay there. The hotel is also very nice, and the staff friendly, Buffet breakfast is very good, though a little crowded. The pool bar on the terrace is simply awesome, considered by many the hottest spot to chill in KL. Make sure to pay a few extra bucks to upgrade your room to a lounge room, with a guaranteed view and access to the lounge. Ask for the highest floor available for an even better view.

“Anniversary Experience”

After reading customer reviews we used the Traders Hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it more than lived up to our expectations. Opting for a Executive Park View room to give us excellent views of the Petronas Towers and park, our bedroom and bathroom was decorated with red rose petals. The Club Lounge was well worth the upgrade, with an inclusive breakfast,afternoon tea (with a small snack), in the evening complementary drinks with buffet snacks. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very well run most comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

“One of the best hotels for the best price”

We were glad that we picked this hotel after hearing about it from other people and reviews from the net. Some advice would be take one of the club rooms and not really worry so much about the view because you will have access to the club room which gives an awesome view of the petronas towers and park for both night and day. The mall is a short stroll away and the conceirge is very helpful when it comes to booking tours and or transport to anywhere you would like to go. For those who want to avoid the hot/humid weather, its also connected to their convention center which allows you to walk indoors all the way to the mall/towers/train. Service is top notch and breakfast was always good at the horizon club lounge. Complimentery wireless internet as well. =)

“Will definitely stay here again”

Every time I go to KL I stay at the same place. I decided to try somewhere else and based on the reviews I read I decided to try the Traders HOtel. I feel my experience matched the excellent reviews I read about. It is in an excellent location and in walking distance to shopping, restaurants and parks. I went with the Traders club package but could not get the park view. I was here on business and not in my room long enough for that to matter. The views are great from the Club floor so that was sufficient for me. The staff is courteous and professional and the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent! ( I ate too much!). The pool and fitness facilities are nice. My only complaint was the bed was extremely hard - like sleeping on a board. Other than that, a very pleasant experience.

“Impressive hotel with the best views”

The hotel is in a great location with impressive views of the Petronas Towers. Even if your room does not look directly on to the towers you can still experience this if you go to the Sky Bar which has great reviews for a place to have drinks and relax and take in the views. The restaurants have a great choice of food for all tastes and requirements, the staff are very professional but extremely helpful and friendly. This hotel has everything you want and need for your stay in KL. I would definately recommend it for the price and quality you receive. Overall I would personally rate the hotel 10 out of 10.

“Traders hotel ideally situated in Kuala Lumpur”

Traders Hotel is known in KL by this name(Shangri La will confuse taxi drivers) It is an excellent hotel situated within walking distance, by covered air conditioed walk passageway, of the twin towers and its shopping mall. The swimming pool is long and open to the sky but lined by comfortable seating. It has a spectacular view being on the top floor. The breakfast was excellent and the service A1. Being an expedia guest turned out to be a bonus as to my surprise the room was a suite overlooking the twin towers. A terrific sight by night. Enjoy your stay.
