It was very convenient to reach to the hotel. It is just the vicinity of city centre and other attractions or tourist spots (e.g state mosque, museum, shopping malls). You can also stroll along the riverside of Sg. Kuantan for a jog or brisk walk. Recommended for a budget stay in Kuantan!

Pros: Smart decor & design and its location by the Kuantan River

Having stayed in a few of the Sentral Hotel chains; needless to say that this one has lots of room for improvements in some departments. Room is adequately large but washroom is quite cramped. Good shower pressure & exhaust fan are bonus; but since the room amenities is quite basic it is expected that cleanliness is uphold; which is not the case. I experienced stained towels and dirty linen that cannot be tolerated. Breakfast venue should be located somewhere else larger to accomodate guests. Same goes to the menu; hope for more variety that appeal to most taste buds. Wifi could be more stronger. Otherwise all is well. Staff & security personnel are professional & accountable. Car park is also available behind the hotel and a signage can be helpful too.

Pros: The food there is a little bit above my expectations. Nicely done.
The road to the hotel could be quite tricky for first timers. The free parking there is another problem for those who are traveling by car.

Pros: clean and comfortable

we booked online and paid in full.when we arrived at 12.30pm we were told room not ready.told to wait.we came back at 3.15pm again the room still not ready,but we noticed those walkin get rooms.almost spoilt the day.

Very disappointed. Requested SPECIFICALLY for non-smoking when I booked a week ago yet hotel said this was not possible. Then called room service for air freshener to clear the cigarette smell, which they agreed but didn't arrive. Found a lizard on my pillow just before sleeping but was too tired to call room service (they wldnt come anyway). View of river definitely not available. Mega view probably better. Towels were stained. Gross.

Pros: The bed quality is good and the sound proof in room is good
Cons: We rent 3 rooms but one in different level, another 2 rooms same,level but far apart at both end.
Location: In town central
Base on the price pay it worth the value. The bed is good to sleep . For a 3 star hotel of cause do not expect a bathtub. Whole family of us with 3 kids sleep well in the family suite. For the price we pay,it over our expectation.

I stayed at Hotel Sentral Kuantan for 4 days/ 3 Nights recently on 25/11/12 to 28/11/12. Overall, I think that the hotel's services are below par. I am very much unsatisfied with the quality of services by the male receptionists there. There were unfriendly and rarely smiled at the guests. I also received a rude service from a male receptionist when I called the hotel for bookings 1 month before my stay there. Through out my stay there, there was no wifi connection. I hope the hotel management could put up a notice at the reception desk so that the guests are well informed and updated about the connection problem.
