What a nice hotel . Staff very friendly and helpful. I was staying 4 nights. The hotel has great food and amazing location to the city you can walk. The last night the people next to my room were very noisy but the lady at the reception was very professional and gave me another room . She was very helpful. And next day book me a taxi to the airport. I will be stin this hotel again. I had chance of staying few hotel around Bydgoszcz but this one is definitely the best. And got great deal for stay. Rooms are spacious, bathroom with bath and shower, clean, breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable although mattress was a bit too soft for my personal taste. I would definitely go again.

Complicated parking and very expensive. I used my ticket three times to enter the car park. No USB sockets to charge your phone.

Good quality hotel close to Bydgoszcz town center. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was large and comfortable.

so-so stay at the City Hotel
Check in was poor as there were issues between City Hotels reservation and the reservation I had with Hotels.com. This took a while and even though the mistake was on City Hotels side I did not recieved an apology for the inconvenience and delay. Much better hotels in the area and would only stay here if other options were not available.

City Hotel, Great Find.
City Hotel was a great find. Good room size. Friendly Staff. Choose from the short bar menu or the complete dining meal and you can eat something different every night for little cost. In hotel casino and free breakfast buffet.

Convenient location with comfortable rooms
Great location near mall with an attached parking lot to leave your car if driving there! Check- in process was a breeze! Rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. The dinner and coffee available were on point! The breakfast buffet offered was okay --could have been a bit more comprehensive for amount charged. Would stil very much recommend.

Well priced with the right deal/Has Casino inside�
Decent spot for the money when you can find a good deal. Usually better prices on the weekend. Has a 24h casino attached! Hotel and restaurant staff are very nice. Would recommend if you're going to Camerimage Festival. Right down the street from Opera Nova.

Don't go here to relax
The hotel was perfect but the attitude of the staff as a whole was intolerable. I am a global traveller and I have never been faced with such negativity, rudeness and abruptness for no apparent reason. The most mannerly people were the cleaners and car park attendants

Noisy Wedding Guests
Although the hotel is generally of a high standard, rooms at the front suffer from noise. Traffic noise is invasive from about 6am. On Saturday, the hotel hosted a wedding party. The guests were allowed to sit outside and talk loudly throughout the night. Conversation was loud enough to penetrate closed windows. We had no more than 3 hours sleep. I am sure that rooms at the back of the hotel are fine.

Speedway GP Bydgoszcz 2014
We came from Scotland to attend the European Soeedway GP 2014 at Polonia Stadium, Bydgoszcz, which is 15 mins walk from City Hotel. Our de-luxe room exceeded our expectations and the breakfast buffet was the best we have enjoyed in many years of international travel. The icing on the cake was provided by the fact that the current Speedway World Champion and a number of other top GP riders, togrther with their families and support teams had also chosen City Hotel as their base for the event. The City Hotel, Bydgoszcz is a real gem and if you find yourself in the Bydgoszcz or Torun areas of Poland you will not find better accommodation. The Forum shopping mall is close to the hotel and offers shopping facilities to match anything found in larger cities.

Great hotel for the business traveller
City Hotel Bydgoszcz is a great hotel for the business traveller. It's not the Ritz, but does not claim to be. It's staff and very helpful and pleasant, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the area is not noisy, food is good, prices good also. Wifi is a decent speed and there's a selection of European language TV channels. I've stayed there twice and it is my first choice hotel for this city.

Met my expectations
The staff were very helpful. I liked the gym and sauna very much. The only con is that my room was done only in the late afternoon. On departure which was very early long before the official breakfast hours the receptionist offered a breakfast box to take away which was very thoughtful.

Very good hotel
This is a very nice hotel, reasonably priced and close to the centre of the town. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff helpful. A long walk from the train station with bags, though, so take a taxi.

1 Stern zu hoch bewertet
Zimmer ist angenehm, sinnvoll eingerichtet und alles sauber. Aber für 4 Sterne brauchtes mehr: 1. kein Pool 2. großes Frühstücksbuffet ohne jedes Highlight (kein Bacon, kein Lachs) 3. TV nur 10 gruselige polnische Kanäle, nichts für ausländische Besucher. 4. Wasser und Instant-Kaffee-Tütchen wurde nicht aufgefüllt 5. "kostenlose Toilettenartikel" bedeutete Duschhaube und Flüssigseifespender - ENDE! 6. "Minibar": auf dem Tisch steht ein Kärtchen mit Preisen für Minibar. Diese war jedoch leer.

Dear Sir,Thank you for rating our hotel. It's a pity you didn't mention your worries by the reception. We would be very happy to help you.To explain some issues:We have also some German and English TV channels...Minibar items are available by the reception. We left fridge empty cause many of our guests prefer to keep there their own items. Water, tee and coffee are each day fullfill - maybe it was hanging the info "not disturb" - then nobody comes to the room. Anyway, all the items ware available in the reception as well...So some of your issues could be solved in a minute, if you would give us the chance. Have a nice day.
