Ideal location for exploring TorunPosted Sep 5, 2011
Only issue was finding the building as not clear when in actual road - also no contact details displayed at entrance when we arrived so relied on other occupant to contact owner, but otherwise all was fine!

Funky Torun Apartment - Not Far but Not the BestPosted Jul 19, 2011 on Hotels.com
This inexpensive little bachelor apartment was very clean and came equipped with all modern amenities (flat screen TV, Internet, microwave, DVD player). Like any apartment it had all the things you would need, like a fridge, sink, cutlery, and dishware - except there was no stove. The bad aspects of these apartment include the washroom, which has a few issues. The toilet needs at least 30 minutes to flush, after having already flushed it. The shower is NOT enclosed, so when you shower, the water splashes and sits all over the washroom floor, which can be a little inconvenient. There is also no big mirror, just a small makeup-style mirror, making it hard to get ready when going out at night. Otherwise, the only other issues are the floor throughout the apartment, which is really glossy, and it gets dirty easily and feels very cold on bare feet. The apartment is also located on the ground floor, which may give some people a feeling of insecurity. Oh, and the bed is actually a pull-out couch which is really stiff and not comfortable. Not a bad place, but could use some re-tooling to make it great!
