Pros: The grounds were very nice.
Cons: Management need to look at the cost of F&B. Management need to see what the people are thinking.
Location: Small village about 3KM's away, however we were not told until day 3 of our stay.
Food and Beverage was expensive which resulted in clients going outside the hotel to eat. The hotel is remote which some people may enjoy. For a resort very few activities were organised. Senior management were never visible. On the plus the grounds were well kept. Staff told as senior management never listen to their suggestions for improvements. I was disappointed to we choose this hotel.

Location: The location was the only let down for our holiday. as Kuta village is undergoing a lot of demolition & construction on and around the main beach.
The hotel was charming and very relaxing, and we couldnt have wanted for more. However as I usually enjoy venturing out of the hotel to explor the local area, I was disappointed to find a large proportion of the village was under constructions/recently demolished (in attemps to improve the landscape of the beach & village eventually). This was unexpected and thus made the time spent outside the hotel rather unpleasent. I suspect this will not be the case in a years time once the clear up and developments have been completed though, so would be worth a trip then.

Fantastic!Posted Nov 10, 2013
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel- the room was great. We found the staff to be helpful with tips and always got friendly service. We were traveling with a two yr old and found the kids club was great for letting him run off some energy. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and we would definitely go back.

Novotel Lombok, Kuta, South Lombok - beautiful !!!Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Quality throughout. Facilities are very good. The private bay and the beaches. "superior" rooms are upstairs and I needed a ground floor "deluxe" room
Cons: Novotel is remote. We had our meals in the nearby town Kuta, Lombok. There are dozens of good cheap clean Indonesian sasak warungs near the beaches
Location: Novotel is remote and has its own bay and beaches. It is great for families. The town of Kuta, Lombok is only a $3 car ride away. Surfing beaches near
there are hundreds of Aussies every week taking advantage of direct flights from Perth to Lombok's new international airport near Praya only 25 minutes to Kuta, South Lombok. If you remember Bali from the 1980's then you can get a feel for the quiet beauty of the people and the beaches. We were amongst the first to enjoy the direct flights to Lombok, which will create a wave of new tourists to this unspoiled island. Previously the domestic airport was in Mataram and most of the tourism was north-west around Senggigi and the snorkelling islands near Gili Trawangan. The new international airport is in central Lombok and closer to the untouched south of the island. We had a day tour with friends to Gili Nanggu. There were 5 of us - the driver charged us $50 for the day ($10 each) and the banana boat cost us $5 each. The snorkelling there was wonderful, white sand, blue water, great variety of fish. The town of Kuta, Lombok has many clean warungs to eat at so we checked "trip advisor" and ate at the top 20 recommended. All meals are cheap and tasty Indonesian food which we really enjoy. Staying at the Novotel Lombok was a good decision, as it is simply the best accommodation in the whole of Lombok. Everything there is quality. It has its own bay and beaches, choice of superior rooms (there are no lifts, so I hope you like climbing stairs) deluxe rooms on the ground floor, villas with private swimming pools. Families are catered for and there were many kids there. Surfing beaches

Great hotel for familiesPosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: location of the hotel being right on beach, variaty of activities organised by the hotel
Cons: charging for transport to Kuta - being only 1.5 km away from the hotel - the hotel should have shuttle bus for this service
Location: right on the beach
The hotel is very good value for money, it caters mainly for families with children.
