“Yes, if you have business in downtown Rijeka”

It is a typical hotel for business in downtown Rijeka. It is conveniently located, it is clean, and both the breakfast and service are good. However, don't stay here on Fridays and Saturdays. Hundreds of teenagers are partying in the front of the hotel, sitting on the ground and talking until late in the night. They were not aggressive, but very noisy.

“Good hotel, good location”

Everything from the check in to the last day of my stay at this hotel was very good. The breakfast was substantial, too. The hotel is located on the canal, which makes it a good point for sightseeing or business.

“Not the best choice for Rijeka”

Not until after I booked this hotel was I warned by my local Rijeka friends not to stay at the Continental. This is an old facility that has not been updated in about 50 years. Unfortunately there are few choices in downtown Rijeka, so it is better to stay away from town that to have to try to find this location, try to find parking nearby and pay so much for what is really a 2-star hotel.
