Fairmont Zimbali Lodge

The entire location was spectacular! The only small drawback was the bits of wear and tear within the room itself. Given that the room had colonial style African furniture the wear was far less notable as compared to major chain hotels and did little to distract from the over all. The views were incredible and the staff was simply perfect!!!!

our weekend at Zimbali was perfect, the whole experience was top class especially the staff who catered for our every need.

Warm welcome, great attention to detail, beautiful surroundings, a real luxury treat! Expedia provided great value for this hotel where we stayed in a lovely big room and were treated to great service.

This is a great hotel but not much to do in the hotel and it is far from any evening entertainment. They do have lovely swimming pools for during the day if the weather is good. On arrival at the hotel it is better than 5* but from the 2nd day onwards there is nothing really special except for a very comfortable room. You will need to have your own transport when staying at this hotel.

Beautiful place, staff is kind but not luxurious. Not on the beach, you need to get a shuttle to get to the beach and you are always charged for the shuttle. If you book a massage from the lodge to the hotel they also charge the shuttle.
