We liked the spa. Walking distance to gojo station. Breakfast was very nice and lots of varieties. Staffs were nice and helpful. It was a great experience to stay in Aranvert hotel.

Spa on 13 floor is great and not noisy at all. Staff are very friendly and location is good too.

Requested for a shaving kit but they asked me to use a hand wash soap and mentioned we do only provide raiser. Also, expensive hotel without facitlies. They charge more then Tokyo hotels. I paid for master bed but they adjusted me in small bed and tiny room. Other then this they are charging stay tax from tourist yen 200 everyday from every tourist extra for stay. This is just a way to earn money as they know we are not coming back soon I do not recommend at all

The Front Desk is very helpful, knowledgeable, and pro-active to solve our questions and requests. All Front Desk staff speak excellent English. This was my second stay and the first time for 3 of my friends. We all enjoyed our stay at Aranvert. If we visit Kyoto again we will stay here again. It is so centrally located and close to Kyoto Station.

Our hotel is easy to access from main station and subway station. You can walk 15 minutes from Kyoto station and 3 minutes from subway Gojo station. During your walking, you can see the great temple be called “Higashi Honganji” We hope we see you again if you visit to Japan again. Thank you all.

Everything is Perfect With this Hotel
Everything works and works well. The location is great. The front desk is always staffed. The room wifi is fast and reliable. The cost is affordable. Some might consider the room a bit small but, then again, it's Japan. I found now flaws from location to service and more.

Such a great place to stay in Kyoto! Staff is very attentive, rooms are modern and in great condition and there is even an onsen on the top floor. It is easily approachable by metro from Kyoto station. I also liked the coin laundry and the dryer located next to the Onsen.

Great hotel, super clean, large room by Japanese standards, best onsen around. The lobby has a library of manga and children's books. Not much around for dinner, but the superstore 2 blocks away is great for hotel picnic, anything you forgot, or last minute food souvenirs.

Good location - 1 stop or bus ride away from Nishiki Market, and 1 stop away from Kyoto. Great little onsen included at the top floor for relaxation after a busy day of walking.

Central location with friendly staff
We love this area because although it seems quiet, it’s walking distance to many interesting areas including temples, Kyoto station and the main shopping street with Nishiki market. There’s also some great inexpensive places to eat very close by. We stayed in a Deluxe room on level 12 which had a view of Kyoto Tower and the mountains. The room was a good size at 26m which is one of the larger rooms. The public bath on level 13 (top floor) was always clean and was a fantastic feature which we enjoyed every evening. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Overall, this hotel offered great value for money and we will return.

A newish hotel and 1 stop from main station, easy to find and good local buses nearby. Nice breakfast buffet and lovely spacious room. Lots of good places to visit. Staff happy and helpful to us. Good value and recommended.

Great spotless business hotel.
Nice standard business hotel - we stayed as a family of 3 in a twin room with. Reasonable amount of luggage, and as a result it was a bit tight on space, but not as tight as in some Japanese City rooms. Bathroom (en suite) slightly larger than in most city business hotels too. Excellent breakfast, quiet rooms in a decent central part of town. 20min walk to Gion/Nishiki Market etc. Onsen was fine, nothing exceptional.

Excellent stay. Were there last year in July 2017. They renovated the front lobby, restaurant, new breakfast menu, rooms till 4th floor are all done with renovation. Centrally located. Public bath on the top floor with a view of the city. Will stay there again.
