“Excellent value in Kyoto”

A stylish business hotel. Friendly, efficient check-in. Free internet access (LAN) in room. Very attractive room. At the Expedia rate, this hotel was excellent value for money. Convenient, central location.

I loved this hotel. It is centrally located in Kyoto. Only a small walk to several major temples and attractions. The room size was a bit small for 3 travelers ( 3 beds ) but the hotel was very chic and modern. Loved it! Lots of good breakfast options that are close. Also hotel is very helpful with recommending all sites around

“Great hotel, great staff.”

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and I would stay here again. Very convenient location. Not even 5 minutes from the bus stop. A few yards from shopping stores, restaurants, etc. And best of all the very friendly staff. I can't say enough about their professionalism, and overall "helpful" attitude towards their guest. 5/5.

“Perfect location and high standards on every front”

Perfect central location for shopping, dining, strolling on the river, and an easy subway ride away from many attractions. The hotel is very suitable to western taste and standard (for example, large bathroom with a big shower area). I would stay at this hotel again for sure if I were to visit Kyoto again!

Upscale and beautiful hotel - amazing for the price! Very nice neighborhood, with beautiful rivers and bridges. Walking distance to great shopping, restaurants and the Gion district.

“Great hotel for visits to Kyoto.”

The hotel was very clean and the facilites seemed new and/or very well maintained; the staff was very helpful with giving advice on what to see and how to get there, and even printed my boarding pass for me (they do not have a business center on site). The location was pretty central, just a quick cab ride from the Kyoto station and within about a 15-20 minute walking distance of the Gion district and some of the centrally located temples.

“A Great Stay!”

The Royal Park Hotel The Kyoto was a classy and comfortable hotel central to Kyoto. The hotel was walking distance to the Sanjo-Dori subway station for quick and cheap access to the Kyoto station. It's also very close to an uncover shopping arcade. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and lavish furnishings. We would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Kyoto, close to everything. Helpful staff, very clean but small/ tight rooms. Had an i-pad attached to the concierge desk as their guest use computer access, really?. But, yes, I would stay at this hotel again. Residents from Orange County, California
