A lovely week in Barcelona

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: This hotel is overall OK, staff very friendly and helpfull, the room facilities were alrignt too... free wi-fi
Cons: The towels provided were not clean enough ... there was a problem with the overall cleanliness of the room ...
Location: Quiet neighbourhood, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, offering food and drinks at very reasonable prices, the underground station is 5 min walk
We spent a weeek in Barcelona, and we have enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The location of the hotel is in a residential area away from the main touristic attractions. However there are many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel offering Spanish food at very reasonable prices, so if the budget is of your consideration, this is definitely a place to make a base camp. There are several supermarkets in the area too. The underground station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel and it takes 10-15 min to get to the city centre from there. The public transport in Barcelona is very good (especially the metro) and it is 24h over the weekend which makes it really easy to enjoy the night life of Barcelona without extra costs too...

Clean, comfortable, quiet hotel.

Pros: Out of town location.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet location but 2 min walk from Santa Eulalia metro station - making it a good, convenient out of town hotel. But not inconveniently out of town. I would definitely stay here again.

Where to start... This hotel was fabulous... From the customer service, to the cleanliness, to the setup of the rooms and lobby... The Hotel looks small from the outside but as soon as you walk in it smells clean and are greeted with a smile, both girls working the front desk are extremely helpful and really go out of their way for their guests.. The rooms are amazing looking, very clean, and comfortable.. I loved my stay.. I have no complaints...

Four stars? I would say two is enough . 18 euro breakfast , 18 euro parking. Old hotel witch should be fixt. Sheets small. Area not really nice. No place to eat around. Metro about 1.5 km.i do not recommend this hotel.

Good quality for less money

My wife and I spent 3 days in Barcelona in Eurostars Lex. We were nicely surprised by hotel stuff. Very friendly, helpful and amazing. Room is clean and big enough in compare with a hotels where we stayed before. Located in 10 minutes walk from subway and bus station. Neighbors are ok - not noisy and district is not dangerous at all (we walked 2 days in a row in the middle of the night and it was ok). Right in front of the hotel couple restaurant and cafe with a good food and wonderful coffee. + Neighbor, Hotel stuff, Room - Blanket was so tiny (not matched with a regular temp in the room) and my wife were cold. We took extra blanket witch was is so big and super warm. In the middle of the night we realized that it so hot. We switched air conditioned on and put low temp. And in the morning it was so cold. So..first night was not so ok about that. Of course we didn't think about that before cuz were so tired after huge tour in Barcelona. Free tip: regulate blankets and temp before go to sleep )))

I am not sure about the normal rates for this hotel, but this was a bargain at the cost we paid through hotels.com Everything was top notch, good beds, great a/c, fabulous shower pressure and bathroom in general.

Long Weekend

Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: The room was very comfortable - the bathroom facilities were of a good standard - TV only has limited channels but more than enough for me
Cons: The only problem is the location and you cannot do anything about that - as someone who likes going out late in in the city this was a drawback.
Location: Location is in a pure residential area - there are cafes and supermarkets close by - you can have a coffee and croissant for €1.60 - so that is cool.
I do wonder why a 4 star hotel was built in a pure residential area - which is neither at the airport nor in the City but betwixt the two - the location is a drawback if like me you want you go out in the City late at night - having to travel back ( 8 stops on the metro plus 5 minute walk) to the hotel to wash and change and get ready to go out for the evening was a pain
