Nice hotel a little outside of townPosted Nov 9, 2013
The hotel overall was nice, but the walls were really thin, and you could hear everything for the minute every morning alarm went off. If there are two of you, make sure you get a room with a queen bed, because the two full beds always break apart. If you want to visit downtown Barcelona, this is about 30-40 minutes away from the center via subway. It's very close to the convention center and the airport and perfect if you are there for an in-and-out visit.

Empty business hotel in area with not much to doPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Location for my business needs
Cons: Change TVs to flatscreen, improve wifi access and speed. Change beds.
Location: Nothing in this area at all, you need a car.
This hotel is close to a business partner so I booked in only a day or two in advance. The rooms are large and comfortable with a few notable quirks. The TV is a dated Bang and Olufsen analogue unit, probably very expensive in its day, but way out of place in a hotel that is striving to be up-to-date. The bed is two single beds, pushed together. OK for me, but a couple I met on a romantic weekend break did not appreciate this at all. The bar and restaurant were almost deserted on a Tuesday night, the food in the restaurant was from a very limited menu. Prices were OK but this is not somewhere I would bring anyone for a meal.

Very nice, modern and quietPosted Oct 28, 2013
It was perfect for our short layover in BCN. The free shuttle was timely, the hotel staff was efficient and courteous. The room was modern and very comfortable. Excellent value for the $

Nice hotel with shuttles to where you need to goPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Great airport shuttle and also a shuttle to the center city
Cons: The prices for food and drink are a little steep and we did not get any breakfast, barely got coffee
Location: There shuttle to the center city allows you to visit everything in the area either walking or taking local tour buses
The hotel had a great airport shuttle and also a shuttle to the center city so you could do sightseeing starting at the center city and return back on the hotel shuttle if you choose

Honeymoon destinationPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: We enjoyed the hotel shuttle service to the main Plaza.
Cons: The way in which we contact the hotel for airport pick up.
Fira Congress was a perfect location for us. We had easy access to public transportation or use of the hotel shuttle service. The hotel fit our expectations as we were visiting tourist sites during the day and stayed at the hotel during the evening. Two twin beds side-by-side as a queen was a little confusing for us, but we made it work (it is a cultural difference that we weren't expecting). The hotel staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had about public transportation options. We had an overall pleasant stay and will return to this hotel if we have the opportunity to do so.

Free Airport TransportationPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Free Airport Shuttle
Cons: Wifi speeds, info about the area
Location: This is in an industrial area and there's very little to do - it's not the slightest bit touristy and proprietors of local restaurants were unfriendly
Need room key to go both up AND down the elevator. Wifi was very slow. The rooms have a very modern design but it's difficult to figure out how to turn the lights on and off. No privacy in the bathroom - open shower right next to door, sliding door to toilet that doesn't fully close. Overpriced menu. Staff ok and room clean. Bed quite uncomfortable. Airport shuttle was the only convenience but we wish we stayed closer to the main parts of the city and just paid for a taxi!

Not Value for MoneyPosted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
We chose this hotel as an "airport hotel" as we were stopping overnight. The free every 15 minute shuttle we waited for, with others, for an hour in strong winds with no shelter. The room is very basic and as an airport hotel it is quite far from the airport, provides breakfast only from 7am and has no in room kettle or coffee making so useless for our early flight. The hotel was quite arty in design but not functional. Lights were a pain to learn how to operate.

Very happy with this hotel. Very modern and comfortable and quiet. Huge shopping mall within walking distance and lots of restaurants there.
