Lived up to expectations 100%Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: This new hotel opened 2010 and the rooms and hotel is of a high quality, extremely clean, fresh and very helpful staff throughout. Beds comfy and huge
Cons: The large rooftop garden is currently wasted, it would be great if it also had rooftop bar and restaurant to sit in and gaze across the city.
We stayed here instead of in the old town centre as we wanted large luxury hotel room, its about 13 euro by taxi, there is a rank right outside the hotel. Also, the metro is just across the street if you want public transport which is great value in Barcelona. Whilst its in the business area next to the exhibition halls, the location ensures you get a quiet and good nights sleep instead of the noise from a city centre location. There is also a large shopping mall about 400m walk away with at least 100 outlets including many well known brands; Footlocker, Zara, Nike etc and a few eateries too, mostly fast food types. Try the 15 screen multiplex cinema there too if your Spanish is up to it. We liked the whole feel of this place, the gym is a typical hotel style, smallish and I missed not having a pool. If you want to relax in style in a modern hotel but still have the old city options within 15min drive away, then look at this hotel. It's also only 15mins from the airport too.

Great modern hotel located near Metro stationPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Modern technology, comfortable and conveniently located near Metro and shopping / entertainment complex
Cons: perfect as is
Location: near Metro stop to get you to center of town, huge modern shopping complex next door
Amazing city, Rambla, beaches, history, soccer team, architecture, great place to be.

Few problemsPosted Aug 16, 2014
Cons: Internet connection should not be advertised as free wifi as the standard of that very internet connection is appalling
Location: Nothing to do near but to shop at IKEA. Could be a little far from the center for some, otherwise good bus/train links to the center and Airport
Internet connection alone is enough to drive you up the wall and the smells within the hotel travel way too easily. Non-smoking room could one day feel like a smoking one for some unknown reason so much so that it is unbearable to be in. Same with toilet smells. Other than that (and that is A LOT for a four star hotel) it is great.

Great Place. I would Stay Again. Stayed 4 nights.Posted Jul 28, 2014
This is a great hotel if you want to be close to things but want a quite night to rest. Only thing is there is no pool or coffee service in the room. It is a 5 minute walk to bus to get DT Barcelona (2.15 euro's each way #94 or #95), 20 min ride right to the heart of city. And a 5 min walk to catch a bus to Stieges, Monbus, (4 euro's each way, 24 hour bus service) about a 30 - 45min ride. Bus to airport same as regular bus. Every 20 mins, #46 ( 2.15 euro's one way). Cheap then taxi which is $20 euro's from airport to hotel. There is a mall within a 10 min walk with everything you need, shops, restaurants, liquor sales. McDonald's close as well for a cheap fast breakfast and coffee. I would stay here again. Staff very helpful. Rooms very modern and clean. Bathroom rocks...

Nice hotel in a quiet part of cityPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and comfortable rooms. It had five lifts to choose from so you weren't hanging around waiting for one. It was only a short distance from
Cons: I would have liked an iron but could probably have been given one had I asked.
Location: Going into the city was quite easy. Go to IKEA. It was next door to the hotel a bonus for those who have no IKEA in their home land.
A very nice hotel. Good staff it felt like coming home each night.w

Fantastic hotel, easy access to public transportPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Comfort, architecture, location!
Location: 5 minute walk from a large shopping mall with a good sized foodcourt and a Carrefour supermarket that has an great array of local meats and cheeses.
Absolutely stunning hotel (If you're an architecture nerd you'll LOVE this building) with really comfortable rooms. Right across the road from the Europa Fira FGC station that gets you to Espanya in about 5 minutes.
