I came here for a part-work, part vacation trip. The hotel was in the perfect location: La Roma is the creative capital of D.F. and La Casona is in the heart of it, so all my meetings were walking distance.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is charming and there are amazing restaurants EVERYWHERE!

We were only at the hotel to sleep and took a cab everywhere so I really can't speak to anything other than the room was very comfortable, standard size, and clean. It's in a good location with plenty of places to eat nearby.

Really enjoyed the hotel. It is not a huge high-rise hotel - rather a mid sized one so the atmosphere is friendly and very laid back. Staff was super helpful and room was attractive, clean and quiet. There is coffee and various fruit infused water available on the landings which was a nice touch indeed. Had breakfast everyday in the dining room which was delicious. An interesting mix of hotel guests - very international which is always fun. Loved the neighborhood as it has many great restaurants, authentic Mexican food, and very well priced. The subway is just minutes away, which we took everywhere. Overall an excellent experience, I highly recommend.

The Condesa/Roma district is just south of the Centro Historico and east of Zona Rosa. Split by Insurgentes Avenue, the area is residential, with many vibrant cafes, restaurants, and bars. Once popular with movie stars, the district is now home to a mix of urban hipsters and upper-middle-class families. Architecture in the area, especially in Condesa, includes Art Deco and other modernist styles.
