It is ok
Located in a residential area and within a few minute's walk to the old town, this hotel offers the best of both world. Lobby and room appear dated with dull-colors and somewhat depressing. Could certainly benefit from a bit of cheer.

The shower was broken, we informed the front desk as soon as we noticed; however we came back late in the day to find the shower still not working. We were moved to another room which was an inconvenience.

From arrival to departure the staff and service was both friendly and good. The hotel is well situated and clean and decorated in the style of the city

This Hotel is in a great location. Large rooms & nice breakfast (which ends at 11). We did not use the pool as the weather was very mixed when we stayed here. The staff are all very friendly & helpful. I would stay at this Hotel again.

Look elsewhere when coming to Santiago
Ok. So the hotel states features that arent really operational now when i booked. Sauna and spa - wasnt informed on how to use this. Swimming pool - only june until autumn. I presume these boost the star rating. There is a lot of art in the hotel. Wood everywhere with glass inlay making cleaning much harder. Not one english channel on the tv. The hotel needs an update. And on a friday night i went to the bar. Ordered a glass of wine. Saw raciones arriving for others. Asked what was recommended and was told salad. Im touring northern spain and there are other hotels and guest houses offering much more of an experience. The stay at this hotel a low point given other reviews

The property is in a great location, the staff is helpful and nice, the building needs upgrades and the room are not very well cleaned, the room we stayed had stains around the toilet, cigarettes buds in the balcony..hopefully this is resolved and besides this, I would recommend this place

Great location. As it turns out, there are two hotels-in-one. Same level if quality. We had a great view of the Cathedral from our room.

Phantom Service Very disappointing hotel
As a paying guest it felt as though I don't exist. Staff have better things to do than provide service at the hotel desk. The 2 lifts work independently so you need to wait longer and call each lift individually. Noisy rooms, poor insulation I won't be returning

A beautiful hotel with well-appointed marble and wooden panel decor. My room was large and spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent!!! The entire Front Desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. I will return in my next trip to Santiago de Compostela.

A great spacious and wonderful hotel! A big surprise when we walked into the room. Very big and clean. Even though it is in the old style deco, it is well maintained and kept. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Would definitely stay again the next time in town. However, the breakfast is a big disappointment. The food quantity if small and the choice is very limited. Will not buy the breakfast option.
