The best hotel in La CorunaPosted Jul 18, 2014
We found the hotel to be the ideal place to stay for a holiday. It has a good location with brilliant views and is close to the main square and waterfront marinas. The sports facilities are excellent although shared with a health club creating an 'urban beach' on your doorstep with 3 swimming pools. Recommended.

Fantastic for relaxingPosted Nov 4, 2012
Pros: The thalasso experience, good value for money
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for two nights. We were delighted! The location is right in the town. Rooms are not huge but good and quiet. The best thing was that we enjoyed the thalasso. A heated swimmimng pool with sea water which was about 40 meters long with a water jets and a sort of jacuzzi area. There are also two spas: one for men and one for women only where you have two saunas, a steam room, ice bucket and a jacuzzi. There is also a gym and a hairdresser's. We went at the end of October and the temperature was mild. I guess in the summer the thalasso will be packed as there are two more swimming pools and a kids swimming pool. I really recommend it and it is an hour's away from Santiago.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful A CorunaPosted Sep 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
Everything about this hotel was lovely - huge, well decorated rooms with every facility you could need and an amazing jacuzzi bath / shower. Excellent breakfast with options for all tastes, although a little in the pricey side compared to the local cafes you won't need to eat again for while! Sexy cocktail bar overlooking the habour and swimming pool area. Only small negative comment is that we weren't aware that the swimming pool area was for communal use - ALL the locals and other tourists piled in, meaning it lost it's sense of exclusivity and begs the question why pay the extra for a hotel with a swimming pool if you can visit for a small fee from a cheaper hotel round the corner? The answer is probably the overall experience and glamour of the hotel but it comes at a high price.

Good central location, harbour viewPosted Aug 8, 2011 on Hotels.com
We stayed here and had a lovely time swimming in the (salt water) swimming pool. The bar closed at 12, so you have to leave the hotel and walk 100mtrs to the outside version to get any wine after hours. The family room was very spacious, they moved a conference table over to the side and put in 2 small beds for my children, which was funny but ok. We walked everywhere from this hotel, had a lovely time.

The hotel has wonderful views and is perfectly situated for the old town and its superb restaurants, the tram which takes you round the perimeter of the city, and ease of getting to the train and bus station for visits to Santiago etc. We upgraded to a junior suite on arrival and it gave us much more room. As with most European hotels it does not offer tea and coffee making facilities, we were charged 5.45 euros for a pot of tea which was barely lukewarm, we bought a travelling kettle. The hotel has a tremendouse gym, tennis, swimming etc.
