The Hotel Carris is in a wonderful location -- near the center of the old town and just a short walk to the Cathedral. The room was small, but was comfortable for two. The staff was extremely helpful and warm. The only quibble: the water temperature in the shower was finicky.

The receptionists at the front desk could not have been more helpful and friendly. While I speak Spanish, both were fluent in English, and offered any help they could. The breakfast was also very good.

Our 2nd 3-day stay and we live this hotel. Staff is most helpful, made reservations for us for a tour to Finisterre, also booked a taxi to the airport. Fabulous location, several bar’s & restaurants just steps away and the Cathedral is about 100 feet away. Amazing how quiet our room was considering all that was around us. Pedestrian only street helps. Mattress very comfy, slept great. Breakfast complete & very good.

After walking the Camino, this was the perfect hotel for us. The location was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The amenities were great and the rooms themselves were lovely.

Great location right in the centre of the town just a few minutes walk to the Cathedral. The hotel was modern and stylish with friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was a continental buffet which was fine for 10 euros the only problem I had was that I could not connect to the WiFi at all in the hotel which was very disappointing.

Super helpful staff at the front desk, very comfortable beds, all was clean and well cared for, walkable location within the old city, loved being in such an easy spot especially after completing the long Camino trek! Even a laundromat right next door, bonus. My room happened to be quite dark as the window was tiny, which I didn’t love, but it’s a medieval building so the architecture is what it is is. The hotel overall is very modern, all amenities are great. Definitely recommend.

This hotel exceeded all of my needs in a place to stay. The location is perfect! I had an interior room which was completely sound proof, with double shutters and blackout curtains so it was pitch black at night. The staff was so helpful in booking my early morning taxi, and they even boxed up my breakfast to take with me. I will definitely stay here again next time I complete one of the Camino routes. Buen camino!

Nos encantó este hotel. Está muy bien ubicado y queda muy cerca de la Catedral De Santiago de Compostela y demás atractivos. Las personas recepción son súper atentas, nos orientaron sobre las zonas y alrededores incluso nos dieron un mapa con los puntos a visitar. Al hacer el check-in, vieron que traíamos dos maletas grandes y nos hicieron un upgrade de cortesía (sin costo) a una habitación superior a la que habíamos reservado con mayor espacio. Todo estuvo perfecto.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Cathedral and close to shopping and good places to eat. The room was a bit cozy but comfortable and quiet at night. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We had to leave quite early our last day and they offered us a picnic breakfast to take with us. Quite nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Jesus at the front desk was very helpful and the breakfast staff was very welcoming. The location is perfect, close to everything. We walked everywhere. The room was your typical small European size but it worked out for us.
