Cons: The Hotel
Location: OK
I intended to stay a week. Bad start as hotel on 6th floor. Very basic small single room with very small bed and old TV, limited channels. Could not connect to Wi-Fi. No option for the continental breakfast, just a croissant and a roll of bread left on a plate, that's it and coffe or tea. All in all very disappointed and checked out as soon as I could with their 24 hours policy.

Pros: Enclosed verandah area where we sat and read which was very pleasant. Short walk to town and food outlets.
Location: Within walking distance to city area and closeness to Metro for transport
The address which is shown is the side of the hotel and our first impression was not the best however on turning the street the front facade is quite acceptable. We were very happy with the interior and were very happy with the cost of drinks, laundry and breakfast. Most of the staff spoke English and were very happy. Very happy with the value for money.

This hotel is in the heart of Santiago de Compestella which allows you to walk any where you like. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. The room was a bit small and a bit tired in its look but not enough to chase us away. A thorough upgrading is in order here. The staff though were very helpful in supplying maps and showing us the best ways to get about. The hotel is on the 6th floor of this building so be aware upon arrival that you need to buzz to get in and the elevators are only large enough to accommodate one person with a suitcase at a time. Good thing there are two of them.

We would be happy to return to this hotel. The railway station is very close and the airport bus service stops about 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast was basic but adequate. The hotel is located on the sixth floor with the entrance door unlocked via a call bell. The lights in the ground floor lobby are operated by a button which turns them on for about a minute. A modern heat/movement operated switch would be a big improvement rather than struggling to find the switch in the dark.
