Very nice location to downtown and river walk.

Great time. Son got married and reception next door. Great room view of river and park. Had a great time. Bar person Nancy was number one. Hustled to keep our drinks flowing and snacks moving. We had 40 plus people there and she did a great job plus very personable..

Great Stay

Posted Jun 23, 2014
The common areas were very cleaned and well maintained, the staff were business-like and helpful. My room was spotless and well made up. My only issue with room comfort was that the desk chair was slightly large for the space it had to live in, and that the chair/desk combination wasn't "excellent" from an ergonomic standpoint.

Stayed for wedding

Posted May 31, 2014
A family member blocked off rooms here for a wedding (@$160/night) but the block was full so they offered us a room for $279/night! I was looking to save some $ so I decided to look online and found one on Expedia for $200/night instead. Nothing necessarily wrong with hotel, everything was clean and staff was fine... Not overly friendly but not rude either. Room was basic, nothing special for the price but I was surprised breakfast was not included for what we paid. We did wait in line for quite awhile to check in, something I have never run into before. I believe they had a kiosk to check in but we didn't have that option since we booked online.

Perfect Location

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Friendly, great downtown location by the river and close to restaurants.
Booked a room through Expedia at the "mystery hotel" unpublished discount rate. We got the Radisson for Saturday, April 26th for a very good rate. When we arrived there was no parking available because there was a wedding going on so we were offered to use their reserved shuttle parking spot for a few hours because we were planning on going out by then. I thought that was very nice. I was asked if the 2 double bed, Jacuzzi room would be acceptable, which sounded fine. Turns out there are six rooms right off the pool (and they are about 10 steps from the pool) We did use the pool and hot tub for a bit. They had the pool heated comfortably. Big Jacuzzi in the room and a small bathroom with a walk-in shower which could use some updating. Fortunately they enforced the 11:00 pool closure time because it was extremely noisy in the room when the pool was being used. Would not take this room again because being so close to the pool you needed to keep the drapes totally closed so people wouldn't be looking in at you and with that being the only window it felt like being in a dungeon after a while. Would stay here again if I could get the discounted rate but a different room.

La Crosse vs. Onalaska

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Proximity to historic La Crosse. Heart of the town. Near the river. Could walk almost anywhere.
Cons: Service at the Three Rivers Lodge restaurant was lackluster. Bartender couldn't get our martinis right. And it took forever to get our drinks.
Location: On the river. The most popular restaurants and shopping within a block or two.
I wanted to stay in La Crosse this visit rather than Onalaska, because in prior trips I spent more time driving than desired. The Radisson is close to everything in La Crosse. Nice to be on the river. The hotel staff -- primarily front desk -- was very attentive to my needs. I didn't use housekeeping or other services as the stay was so short. I was attending the Senior Recital for one of my daughters at Viterbo University.
