Historic and majestic, the Château St Cloud is a Fantastic hotel with a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
Couldn't fault the amenities, the location, the service or anything else. Certainly a great place to stay and relax with friendly staff to accommodate any of your needs.

Wonderful hotel! Very welcoming , hotel is recently new so everything is modernized and still smells new. Hold only 4 rooms, so it's nice and quiet. Food was great. The house is located right on the beach and about 1/2 a mile from the worlds famous beach. We had to get laundry done and they were very fast at getting it back to us. We were extremely happy to have chosen this place!! I would say the only downside is the hotel is across the street from a school which was sometimes loud with children, but if you don't stay at the hotel during the day you are fine.

We had a fantastic 12 days in this high quality ,spacious and well maintained guest house on the fabulous island of La Digue. We were looking for a restful, quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay and this exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing vacation on the island made all the more enjoyable in the knowledge that at the end of each day we would be returning to our personal "paodise"
Anis the owner and his parents really made us feel like part of the family and by the end we felt as if we had known them for years. Their hospitality and care for us was unbelievable and nothing was too much trouble. Whether it was ensuring we had fresh bread every morning, home cooked dinners in the evenings, top tips of where to go or organized excursions we were royally looked after.
La Digue is an incredibly special place with its rain forests, superb beaches, seafood, snorkeling , diving and dining out, and paodise guest house is the ideal base.

This hotel has a lot of charme, a true luxury experience with local flair which sets itself apart from the usual rack of 5 Star franchise hotels. Bungalows are spread out over a charming hilly estate, and the whole place has kind of a special "Zen" atmosphere about it (architecture, color scheme, etc.). Beautifully crafted pool with swim-up bar and centrally set a la carte restaurant. The hotel beach is average but, hey, you are on La Digue and the world's most photographed beach is only a 10 minute bike ride away (opens at 8 am, come early and you'll have it for yourself...). Bikes are in good quality and supplied free of charge. There are more, equally beautiful and less populated beaches towards the Northern end of the island (5, 10 and 20 minutes by bike). The spa has stunning views and was amazingly crafted into the granite rocks (we didn't get to try it, though, as there were too many other things to do). Management and staff were very attentive.
