“A Little Disappointing”

We were a little disappointed in our room. Only one light in the main room worked. To get the microwave plugged in you had to unplug the TV or the refrigerator. I thought it was clean until I noticed a dead bug on the floor of the bathroom.

“La Junta America's best value”

Bed was very comfy, but the bathroom shower needed to be re-caulked, it looked pretty grungy. The towels were fluffy, the shower curtain has the magnets to keep them in place, which was also nice. There was a dirty rag still left on the bathroom counter, and the cover for the water tank was broken, which wasn't very nice. The mini-fridge and microwave were a bonus, although we didn't use them as we only stayed one night. A seating area with a chair and small couch was also nice if you wanted to sit and read and not be stuck just leaning against the headboard. The check-in and check-out were very smooth, and the young man behind the desk when I checked in gave a great recommendation for breakfast the next morning (They don't have the continental breakfast I thought was advertised, but not really sure where I read that). I would recommend this hotel to others - it's not the Ritz, but it's perfectly fine.....

“Poor quality, even for a budget hotel”

Rooms clean, but done without a whole lot of care. Pillows thrown on the bed, not in the right places, wrinkled bedding and the bed was made sloppy. Room smelled like a sewer.

“Will NEVER use this hotel again!”

The room look recently painted and on the floor around the bed were white flakes that looked like they had come from the popcorn ceiling and were never cleaned up. The toilet was filthy and there was urine all over the seat. I had to clean it before I could use it. The bathtub water would not shut off completely leaving a nasty rust stain around drain. And the bathroom door would not shut completely. There were also dead bugs and human hairs left in the bathtub. The room next to ours had a window broken out of it. The air conditioning unit did not work well and brought in smell from the neighboring waste water treatment plant. The stairs to the rooms were not kept at all and walking up and down them was scary to say the least. The swimming pool did not have a stock of towels and only four (all broken) lounge chairs. There were bugs coming out of the poorly caulked areas around the pool. The continental breakfast was horrible and the coffee itself tasted burnt. This was more of a MOTEL and was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. We couldn't wait to leave. Expedia should consider not marketing for this hotel.
