Las Norias is a beautiful and well kept place.Celia the manager is very helpful and even took us the supermarket. There are two good restaurants within five minutes walk. The gardens are well kept and there are two lovely pools (one 24 degrees)The atmosphere is tranquil with lovely flowers.Above the apartments are the mountains and below the sea.Superb sunsets from the balcony.Roses are out and March felt like June
A car would be useful though you could use the bus to get to the local towns.Characterful seaside town about twenty minutes drive. The sea was a pleasant temperature.A walk in the mountains is a must.
Probably too hot in July/August.A perfect place for a rest.

Beautiful hotel delights the senses.
Very peaceful as no children allowed - the antiques are too precious! They have built a reproduction catholic chapel and are trying to get it sanctified for weddings. Only 30 bedrooms feels private and exclusive.
Oh - the pool was freezing!

We have just returned from a 7 day stay at El Galeon and have no hesitation in recommending it. On the hillside above Santa Cruz. it is an easy and pleasant walk down into the town for buses and other amenities. Our apartment was amazingly spacious with a generous kitchen area with fridge and ceramic hob, a well-furnished lounge containing a TV, comfortable sofa and coffee table. There was a dining table and chairs as well as solid patio furniture which could be taken out onto the patio through the glass doors. The view was stunning and rural and the sea and port could be seen from the corner of the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and there was loads of storage space in the way of drawers and hanging space. The bathroom area had an excellent shower over a sunken bath, large washbasin and separate WC with bidet. Everywhere was spotless and cleaned daily. Reception and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. We loved being able to enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet in the attractive dining room. Quiet and relaxing.

Excellent hotel close to airport. Stayed 3rd Jan 2014 for 1 night on arrival until hotel on west side of island was ready. Had a 1 bedroom apartment with a fabulous seaview on the fourth floor. The apartment was spotlessley clean with fridge, cooker and sink (no oven). Bathroom spotless with bath and shower overhead, good quality towels provided; liquid soap dispenser in bath/shower and by sink; hairdryer also provided in bathroom as well as plug socket for shaver etc. Bedroom had two very large single beds pushed together which actually formed a kingsize or superkingsize - lovely and comfortable; bedside lights and seaview. The hotel has a beautiful oval shaped swimming pool, a small kids pool and a small play area for children. The main hotel restaurant was good with a buffet breakfast provided eg. english and or continental or both if you wished - you could help yourself to as much as you wanted. Fresh fruit, cakes, many and varied types of bread, toast, full range of tea/coffee/drinks/fruit juices etc. The only slight downside was that the plates provided for cooked breakfast buffet were cold but this did not spoil the enjoyment. Even on 4th Jan 14 was able to sit outside by the pool and have breakfast once the sun had come up above the horizon - lovely. There is a small bar/snack/restaurant by the side of reception where you could sit and have drinks snacks until around 10/11pm. Staff very helpful and friendly and polite.

I chose Los Rosales from your website because it came up in a search for dog friendly hotels in La Palma, Canary Islands. Arriving at around 11pm I was told that dogs were not welcome on the complex, which left me seeking accommodation, with my elderly dog,at almost midnight. Not at all impressed with the attitude of the staff, who clearly couldn't care less. I was left to fumble about to find a note on the door with an after hours phone number, breaking my torch in the process - so not exactly quietly. When I rang the number eventually the young man emerged from an apartment right alongside. How could he not have heard my distress since the patio window was open? Some would say this is typical Canarian attitude. Since I've been traveling the other islands over the last 8 months I know this not to be true, but so long as there is attitude like this the myth of lack of service on these islands will take a long time to die.
So, Expedia. I need a refund of the money I paid you + the €10 extra it cost me at the hotel I eventually found which I hadn't budgeted for + the cost of a broken torch. Do you have a claim form please? I appreciate this is not your fault, but you need to take this up with this client, as I have with you.
Look forward to hearing from you a.s.a.p.
OK so I had to add ratings for stuff I can't rate because I didn't get the opportunity to find out!
