Good upscale hotel in La Paz

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel due to its "lower" altitude of 3200 meters in La Paz and in a very nice neighbourhood, in addition to it being just 2 years old. The view is best with the suite and Rm 1601 or 1701; we stayed in an upgrade regular room at 1707 which is the next best. Except for one male front desk staff, the rest of the staff were generally very nice and went out of their way to be helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent though the selection is a bit limited.

My hotel in La Paz

I am very pleased with this hotel. The building is new so all is new!. The food is amazing, the gym, sauna and steam room are great. I am not used to La Paz altitude yet but the steam room help me with my breathing. The food in the restaurant is amazing. People are very helpful and corteous. The bar has a great view. The only thing I did not like was that in the bar smoking is allowed even tho food is served as well. The Terraza was not open even though it was not raining.. Other than that it is a wonderful hotel I recommned.

I'm glad that you had the opportunity to go to CASABAR; it's on the top floor of our hotel. And indeed there the guests can smoke, it's the only place in the hotel where they can smoke. All other areas are prohibited. However, I will communicate this to managers not to forget open the terrace doors in heavy smoke. I hope have you back soon. Very nice hotel

This was my first time at the hotel and it is very close to the airport which is useful after a long flight but not that central. The service was good but it was very annoying not having an iron in the room. I therefore had to pay for ironing.

All our private rooms have ironing boards and iron totally free for the guest use. Hopefully you can try our services in any other visit to our city. Great hotel, needs better WIFI and restaurant staf

Hotel was GREAT and rooms were very comfortable. WIFI is something to be desired, connection was terrible. Restaurant could be more attentive as at times it took over 10 min to get a waiter to our table on the terrace.

Great hotel useless staff

The hotel and the facilities were great, but staff is useless when you need help. I made my reservation thru hotels.com and when I arrived to the hotel they did not had my reservation, they told me they were full. No one had a answer and could not help. Finally after many hours trying to figure out why my reservation was not respected, I got a room. My reservation was full paid and at check in again they were charging me the whole stay and I show them my reservation was paid and again a long journey trying that some one could fix this issue.

El mejor hotel en la paz

Comodo moderno buen buffet de desayuno incluido solo cuidado que a mi me querian cobrar 100 dlls mas por dia que porque la reserva era para una persona, no dos ¿? Que pq no tenian cuartos de una cama solo de dos, cuando comprobe q mi reserva era para dos obviamente me dijeron que ok pero q me cambiarian a una cama king lo cual para mi era lo mismo solo fue que ya habiamos desempacado y volver a empacar para cambiarnos al otro cuarto q era lo mismo solo con cama king, siento que trataron de sacar ventaja y aprovecharse pero pues bueno es ndamas no dejarte, de ahi en fuera, todo lo demas excelentisimo y bell boys muy amables

Best option in La Paz

Pros: Brand new hotel with excellent services
This is a brand new hotel very well located in La Paz. With a good internet connection and a good breakfast buffet is a great option for business travellers and others. The staff couldn't be more helpful, always trying to do their best. Probably one of the best options in La Paz I would definitely recommend this hotel.
