This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which was great. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower properly. The water was often not hot in the morning. It was explained to me that they couldn't have an elevator because the power supply is unreliable, so if you have trouble with stairs as I do, I suggest you request a first floor room. Although it's a great location near to the lake, there are no cafes, restos or convenience stores close by. A bottle of water is provided on your fist day only. A snack bar at reception would be great. Despite the negatives I have no hesitation giving this hotel a five star rating.

The best hotel in Copacabana, but ..
The best hotel in Copacabana, very good location, the rooms have lake view. Good infrastructure and good food. The service staff is attentive. It would be 5, but it . It doesn't have WiFi, or it does but it doesn't work. And from the staff's responses it seems like a normal situation. The WiFi, in countries like Bolivia, the hotel's WiFi is CRUCIAL, for us WiFi is more important than breakfast.

Relax in Copacabana
We stayed in a wonderful, spacious room with a private balcony overseeing the lake. It got a bit cold in the room at night (in summer). Staff was attentive and professional. Dinner menu pricey.

The rooms are big with very nice lake view. The breakfast and dinner are nice too. However, we were given one double bed room and two twin beds rooms when we booked 3 rooms with king size bed at expedia, and our rooms were far apart.

Delightful - over delivered
Super clean, bright, friendly hotel with great view and location. Really outstanding decoration (even the waste baskets!), and bedding was like sleeping in a cloud.

Copacabana visit
Hotel is clean and has nice rooms. WiFi only in the lobby is a major disatvetage. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable with great views on the lake

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views.
This is a truly beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The design, decor and views from the room surpass anything that we have seen so far in South America. The staff were wonderful in every way and could not possibly have been any more helpful. As a negative, there is no WiFi signal in the room and the water was not particularly hot during the day (although fantastic at night). Both of these negatives should not be happening at a hotel of this quality. Despite these issues, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We were checked into one of the rooms in the second "tower" which are separate rooms at the bottom of the building, near where they park the tourist buses. The cleaning needs more attention, since we found many hairs in the bed. They switched us to a second room which also had hairs in the bed. We also had trouble sleeping at night because of all the neighborhood dogs barking.

Beautiful hotel in Copacabana with excellent restaurant. Easy walk to town square and beach. Keep in mind, however, that it is a 3-5 hour ride to the nearest airport. The airport in Copacobana is closed.

Exceptionally well positioned half way up the hill so that your view of the lake and shore line is maximized while not having to climb too high. Sunset views are outstanding from the dining room and lake facing rooms. The decor is well balanced between modern and local, very inviting colours. Quiet, an outstanding sleep!

I love that each room is designed uniquely and has a balcony looking out to Lake Titicaca. It would be nice if they provided water in the room. This is a no fuss hotel.

Great view. No hot water.
This hotel and it's view are gorgeous. Simply stunning room. Love the decor and detail. The only reason I'm not giving it perfect marks is due to the lack of hot water. Tried to shower but water had poor water pressure and was barely like warm. This would be expected in a lower end hotel, not one of this price point. Went to ask for assistance and all I was told was to let it keep running and it would warm up, when in fact it did the opposite. Both front desk clerk and Manager were very apologetic to the issue but instead of offering a discount (as requested) they gave me a voucher for a craft shop in La Paz. Other than that it is a lovely hotel with a great breakfast but given the amount of choice in Copacabana o think money could be better spent elsewhere.

Breathtaking views
This stunningly beautiful hotel is set partly up a hill, with breathtaking views from our room of Lake Titicaca. The hotel is tastefully appointed with Bolivian folk art in all spaces. Wish we could have stayed here more than one night.

Outstanding attention to detail
Really a great room and nice facility - a little embarrassingly nice for me and my buddy! It would be a great place to stay with my wife :) We had one dinner in the restaurant - it was expensive (for Bolivia) and not really superior to other meals we paid a lot less for. Breakfast buffet would get higher marks if eggs had been available. Staff was very helpful and front desk had enough English to make up the difference in what is lacking in my rudimentary Spanish.
