A Unique Oasis On The MaleconPosted Jan 30, 2014
Pros: Its warmth, comfort, aesthetics and breakfast is served on balcony overlooking the Malecon
We decided to book through Expedia after consulting Trip Advisor and we chose the Posada de las Flores La Paz. The building and room colours accentuated the design and architecture. The charm of this place and the authentic art work and artifacts reminded me Centro Historico Guadalajara. Quiet, safe and easy access to the city centre by foot or cab. A lovely small boutique hotel on the ocean front. The long and winding malecon is beautiful. La Paz is a quiet and tranquil part of Mexico and being the capital has its own history. Definitely worth seeing.

Posadas De Las FloresPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Very comfortable and private. Lovely architecture. Very clean and well maintained. I like the cat too.
Cons: It would be nice to have an ice machine. They have an ice bucket in the room but no ice.
Location: Right on the Malecon. Walking to everything will take 15 to 30 minutes. Visit Ibarra's Pottery, Allende's Books
This is a small charming hotel. With only eight rooms in an intimate setting you will feel very comfortable here. The architecture is old style Mexico. The outdoor seating areas for breakfast and lounging are wonderful. Sit and relax in cushioned chairs overlooking the Malecon and La Paz Bay. The sunsets are spectacular. The rooms are spacious and very clean. TV, telephone and refrigerator are provided. Beds are very comfortable. The free breakfasts are fixed menus but they are tasty and well prepared. There are two negatives. First, the hotel is located about a 15 minute walk north of the main shopping, eating and drinking establishments. If you are a walker this is an no brainer. Second, the hotel is located on the Malecon, which is a main through faire for vehicle traffic. Sitting on the veranda can be noisy. I did not find the noise to be bothersome while in the room and it did not interfere with sleeping. All in all this is a very nice place and I would highly recommended it.

Perfect couples hotelPosted Jun 4, 2013
Pros: Staff was very friendly, great room. superb value
Location: on main road by the bay, easy to find
Found this hotel on the internet. Stayed for four nights. Beautiful, spacious room. Shower and tub were tiled. Maid did an excellent cleaning job each morning. Staff was friendly, accommodating and courteous, especially "Louis". Great location, parking on the street in front on the hotel. Breakfast was provided each morning on second story veranda overlooking the bay; breakfast included five different egg selections you could order, plus juice, coffee, breads, fruits and yogurt. Our stay here was the highlight of our 12 stay on the Baja. Very highly recommended. small, but refreshing pool.

A bit run downPosted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Lovely hotel, great location, but a bit run down. We stayed in a Junior Suite and the curtains were stained, paintings in bathroom were moldy. The beautiful bathtub is inoperable and "private" patio had a family right on the other side of a see through separator. Beds were extremely comfortable but did not have mattress pads or top sheets beneath the duvets. The pool was over chlorinated missing some tiles. A very nice place, but we were slightly disappointed for the price.. Good breakfast and friendly service!

Great character and atmospherePosted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: Building very pretty
Cons: Noise from street
Location: Perfect location by the sea.
Wonderful character, not your cookie cutter hotel. Very nice staff, good breakfast, lovely B&B style room. We even had a little terrace in front of the room. It all feels very comfortable. Only negatives: It's right on the Malecon (which is very good), but that also means that you can hear traffic a lot. Ear plugs recommended, if it bothers you. There also seem to be some roosters around somewhere!

Charming Mexican HotelPosted Jan 15, 2013
Pros: Small, walking distance to everything in La Paz
Cons: Lack of "hooks/racks" to hang towels.....
Location: On the Malecon along the seafront; the setting of La Paz is relatively quiet with some great food.
Very small and charming - that's why it was chosen. Walking distance to town and eating places, the Malecon is across the street. It could use a few things but, it isn't an American hotel and the lack of a coffee maker in the room isn't enough to over-ride future bookings. The complimentry breakfast was very good; the only real complaint is the traffic noise from the road, which the hotel can't do anything about. Enjoyed traditional style and the stay.

Great hotel to relax and enjoy La PazPosted Dec 5, 2012
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff, the breakfasts, and the view.
Cons: pool wasn't heated
Location: The hotel was across the street from the ocean and the malecon. great view from the veranda. Close to town but far enough away to be quiet
We really enjoyed our stay at Posada De Las Flores. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, and the veranda was a wonderful place to view the sunsets. The courtyard was a nice place to relax. We loved La Paz, The people were very nice and the Malecon was beautiful, we walked it everyday.

My favorite!Posted Oct 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was my second stay at Posada de las Flores - both times business. It is convenient to many good restaurants and has a great shaded terrace overlooking the malecon for informal and semi-formal business meetings. The hotel is a quaint and lovely setting - very small with attentive, knowledgeable and bi-lingual clerk. Room (stayed in the same one both times) is very clean and comfortable - old world decor. They serve a lovely breakfast on the balcony overlooking the malecon, which is across the street and a great walk after a satisfying meal. I highly recommend, particularly for couples - intend to bring my wife back here some day soon.
