La Pintada Vacations

The national capital Bogota is located 130 miles (209 kilometers) southeast of La Pintada, while Medellin is 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the north.

To taste this region in all it's variety, hit the road and discover the attractions around La Pintada. Supia, is 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the north, while Retiro is located 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the south.

When it's time to spread your wings, why not visit the nearest regional area. Medellin is situated 35 miles (56 kilometers) away and is home to visitor attractions including San Antonio Park, Palacio de la Cultura and La Strada Mall. Don't head back to La Pintada until you've stopped by Medellin's Atanasio Giradot Stadium, Oviedo Mall and Carlos Vieco Theatre.

To understand a region, it often pays to learn a little local history. Andino's evocative old towns provide a wonderful starting point. Take a trip to Andino's history museums, art museums and art galleries. These are good places to spend time, especially when the weather is a little moody.

Get a different perspective on the Andino area by taking to the skies. Paragliding is a great way to spend a few hours here. Take a big breath and de-stress as you enjoy the area's relaxing pastimes such as cycling and bird watching.
