Hampton was a hit.
The staff was super friendly and the kids were loving the snack bags when we got there and the breakfast. The room was very spacious. Only 2 things was the windows didn’t seem sealed and the found a few dead flies. We noticed the flies from the outside on the windows too. Might be a seasonal thing. We wouldn’t have cared but the dead ones inside was a little weird. But I won’t blame the staff for that also because they were the best part of the experience! Great job

Great stay!
The hotel’s location right by a little lake makes it bucolic despite being right next to the highway. The service was great. The only downside was that the hot tub was not in service.

Highly recommend this hotel! When we checked in, the A/C in our room was not working. The desk sent maintenance to our room immediately, and he pulled the unit apart and got it going within a few minutes. It worked fine the three days we were there. All staff was friendly. Good mornings from all the cleaning, desk, and maintenance staff out whole stay. Breakfast was great! Regular waffle batter and cinnamon roll waffle batter. Had strawberry cream cheese spread for bagels, as well as the usual jellies, butter, peanut butter, etc. Also, the expected bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, cereals, yogurt cups, apples, etc. It is just north of the interstate, so a little bit of traffic noise, but not bad. Not next to restaurants, gas stations, etc, but everything else about this hotel was fantastic.

Although this location is in the middle of remodeling the outside I found the inside extremely clean and the staff very friendly. My room was great very clean and had all the amenities that I wanted. I would definitely stay there again.

Sort review: stay somewhere else. The entire front entrance is under construction, there's materials everywhere, and some sidewalks you can't use because of it. The place is fine-ish. Their "system was down" so we couldn't check in. We then drove the 5-8 minutes to town (there's NOTHING around this place), spent 30 min. walking around town, and then drove 5-8 min. back. Their system was still down, so they said they would just check us in the old fashioned way. While walking to our room, we discovered there was a U12 baseball team that was staying at the hotel. They had almost every room. It was quiet until the baseball team got back. It was then 4-5 hours of screaming kids sprinting down the hallways. Also, they thought it was a good idea to put a room with a dog directly above the pool. Our dog never settled down. Which may be a good thing for when someone else tried to come into our room... with a room key. They checked someone in and gave someone else a room key to the room we were in. Then, an hour or so later, someone from the front desk came up and started grilling us like we WEREN'T suppose to even be there. What's your name? Did you check in today or are you a hold over? When I went to check out, they still didn't have it right and gave me a receipt for someone else (who they had listed in our room). As for the room, the toilet lid was glued in spots, and was glued on crooked and unleveled. You don't sit straight or level on it. Stay. Somewhere. Else.

Was kind of hard to give an accurate rating as the hotel was under renovations and not in tip-top condition. The front desk staff was underwhelming, but the staff did keep a good job of keeping up the breakfast service. Rooms were decent, but not anything to write home about. Overall, there weren't any major issues, but didn't exceed expectations either.

Driving up to the property we were very worried. Grass was waist high, cement pieces were everywhere. Some of the areas had plastic wrap around them. I wouldn't have been surprised to have found a CLOSED sign on the doors. HOWEVER...when I went in the door and checked in I saw that the hotel is being remodeled. The inside is gorgeous. There should have been signs saying "under construction" and MOW THE LAWN! Too bad the hot tub was not working. Breakfast was great! Room was clean and well decorated. And to our surprise, we could not hear the people in the other room. The walls seemed to be well insulated.

Nice welcome snack and drink! Bummer that none of the workout room equipment worked. After a day of driving I was really looking forward to using the treadmill.

I booked my reservation through Expedia for a family suite. When I arrived the check in process was very quick so no complaints there but as I walked into the room I instantly realized that it was not what I paid for. I went back downstairs to talk with the lady at the desk and explained what happened. She informed me that that room was the only room they had left on the property. They gave away my room that I had already booked weeks ago. Needless to say my family and I had to pile up in a standard double bed room. Very uncomfortable and not accommodating at all. On top of that there must of been a cat that stayed in our room previously because there was animal hair all over and cat nip treats on the floor behind the dresser.

A break from the road.
Receptionist was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. They served a very delicious breakfast. Nice view out our window. Easy on-off the tollway.
