We enjoyed our stay at Callaway Gardens. We should have done more while we were there because they had a lot to offer, but it was a "rest and relax" weekend.

If you are seeking a getaway to reset your mind, body and soul, Callaway Gardens and Resort is it. Perfect experience. The staff was very accommodating, the food was good, the spa was phenomenal, and the excursions were entertaining. I traveled alone and during my entire stay, I felt safe and comfortable. Most of all, nothing can beat the scenery!

It was nice and quiet at night. Didn't like the prices of the food, the room needed different chairs and hooks in the bathroom. Didn't like that we had to wait for over an hour to get into our room and got no compensation for it.

We paid $273,33 per night for 3 nights, First day we left room at 10:00a,m, put a sign service requested. We returned about 4:00p.m. room was not cleaned I then searched for housekeeping and got them to clean it. The last day we left the room about 9:30a.m. and put the sign service requested on the door. We returned at 4:00 the room was not cleaned I did not go serching for housekeeping and they never came. For that amount of money we paid per night they should of treated us like royalty.

I really enjoyed this quiet get away. They are doing a great job with the remolding. The company cares about the property and even with it being the off season. They are making changes that will make it amazing this spring/summer. I will come back. The beds were super soft, my only quibble. The food was delicious and even enough vegetarian options that was nice for my girlfriend. All in all I will come back

Check-in was a breeze & we loved the trolley service to Fantasy in Lights. Our first night was rough due to some very loud next door neighbors. The next night they were gone but above us was the same so I'm assuming very thin walls allowing lots of noise to be heard. Coffee pot was horrible & asking for extra coffee felt like a burden for the front desk. Room was very clean & the tub was perfect after a cold night touring lights. Overall decent room for an expensive price.

Checkin started at 4 Waited in line to check in, got to desk Was notified that cottage was not ready and they would call me when ready. Cottage was ready at 715, had to go back to desk and get key and location of cottage. Was given an adjustment(not charged for resort fee $40) which i do not think that covers my inconvenience. Some of the facilities were not open.

It was hard to get information and I finally asked the valet guy some my questions. He was very helpful. I could see that the front desk was under staffed, but this was my first visit and I needed a friendly person. The facility was nice.

Callaway Lodge is beautifully set among the trees and is all decorated for Christmas. The staff is attentive and friendly. A wonderful place for couples or like us, with 20 family members. This resort never disappoints.

The hotel was Beautiful. We enjoyed driving and hiking. We loved the lights. When we checked in our clerk was not very friendly. He didn't give us any information. And the only other negative was the price of food. It was extremely unreasonable.
