Not what I expectedPosted Aug 25, 2014
The rooms were dirty, the hot tub was lukewarm, and the dining area could have been cleaner. I am not trying to be picky. I drove 11 1/2 hours and was looking for some comfort. The hot tub didn't help because it wasn't warm enough. That was a consensus with another group that was in there also. There was a dirty stain on the shower curtain, and the shower head moved. I read a sign that there were new owners of this "resort" but that doesn't excuse the condition of this hotel. If the word "Resort" means luxury to you, you might want to skip on this one.

Nice pool and peaceful areaPosted Aug 15, 2014
We enjoyed our clean rooms, huge quiet indoor pool with nice temp water, and a balcony with a view of the lake for an affordable price. The staff were accommodating and very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast spread daily included in price.

our stayPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: it was clean, and a reasonable price
Cons: the shower... more water please
Location: its in laconia... more than plenty to do
room was clean, shower was just ok... the shower head is a water saver so not the most energizing shower... but the water was hot... bed was very comfortable, and the ac worked fine...receptionist was helpful... was a pleasant stay... would certainly stay again if we were in the area

Cons: Breakfast could be improved. Would like to see more hot selections like eggs and oatmeal.
Clean, comfortable room right on Rt 3. About 10 miles from Weir's Beach. I stayed here on a recent trip for "Bike week" at Laconia. The pool was warm and clean. It is great to swim after a long bike ride. Get a room on the street side, 2nd floor, for a minor view of the lake. Breakfast was Ok at best. Staff was also very friendly, helpful.
"By the lake" LOLPosted Jun 17, 2014
Website says this is near a lake... And it is. Except there are huge signs and fences up blocking hotel guests from going anywhere near the very lake that is advertised on their website!! The signs threaten to prosecute hotel guests if they go near the lake. The staff was nice but had no good answer for me when I asked about the lake, they just have directions to a public beach a few miles away. The tub in our room had hairs in it which skeeves me out, and the bed was so uncomfortable. So glad this was only a 1 night stay.... We almost left but were too tired at that point to switch hotels.

New OwnersPosted May 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We have stayed at this hotel in the past mostly because of the boat access to the lake across the street from the hotel. When checking in we found out that the hotel no longer has that access as new owners took over on 5/1/14. We were able to use the public boat launch a few miles away. The hotel was clean and the new owners very nice. The rooms are not very sound proof you hear a lot of outside noise. We had a good stay. The breakfast was only from 7-10 am and had cereal, bagels, English muffins, muffins, coffee, orange juice, apples and waffles. Food was fresh and well displayed.

Great placePosted Apr 16, 2014
Cons: The breakfast had nothing for gluten free food, no yogurt, eggs or bananas.
The staff was very friendly, answered all our questions and even called a recommended restaurant to get answers for us. The room was very nice, the grounds well taken care of and the pool and hot tub were clean and roomy.

very nice, would like to go back in summerPosted Apr 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
I could see how this place would be a great getaway in the summer. I was up in NH for business so it was off season and the restaurant and bar were closed. Comfy bed and clean. Hotel could use some modern updates.
