They have a nice restaurant and reasonably priced food was good. Although room was very dated and small, it was only allowed to use the pool for 90 minutes because of high volume, grandkids were disappointed they had to leave.

I really liked the hotel's pool, I stayed in the West part of the hotel just because of the pool so you don't have to get cold when you get out. I believe they need to renovate the rooms in the west part. But I really liked the hotel, the restaurant has few options on the menu but has great service. The entire staff was very friendly. I will go back again but I will try south next time.

We stayed in room 108B. The white blanket had black scuff marks on top of the bed. There were thick layers of dust around the edge of the entire rooms. The rest was passable. The restaurant had good service and good food. We enjoyed the indoor pool areas. The Mountain view’s are beautiful. We had stayed there around 16 years ago and not much has changed. It appears to be in need of some updating and upgrades. Would not recommend unless there’s no other places available. That was with our case.

The room had a scenic view of Lake Winnisquam and was very spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool area was awesome and the Roman spa was super relaxing. The kids loved the pool and the arcade area and stuffed animal building station. We will definitely be back!

The views from the room were great and that's where it ends. Starting with stains all over the sofa that I didn't want to sit on, burn holes in the rug, & the kitchen faucet would not shut off. The general condition of the unit was lots of deferred maintenance. The icing on the cake was finding housekeeping in my room starting to strip the bed just after my wife had gotten out of the shower and I hadn't checked out yet. I mentioned my concerns to the main office that I found housekeeping in my room and they said they must have gone to the wrong room. It certainly put a damper on our stay. I don't think we'll ever return to Steel Hill.

Couldn’t take a shower he had to come replace the shower head water was not coming out, had to wait to get towels & passes to go in the indoor pool the second night had no electricity so really couldn’t go anywhere but it was a sunny day so we did get to enjoy the outdoor pool with music blaring

Had a good trip
The grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful. The pools are well maitained and are plentiful, with several indoor and outdoor choices. The main building, where we had friends staying, is dated and in need of upgrading but still cery clean. The building we stayed in was a bit dated as well, but nice with all the extra games and things to do on rainy days. Overall pir experience was very positive and the ataff was great!

I feel that the food at the restaurant was very good and so was the service. Finding the restaurant was more difficult as there is no signs stating that the brown building is a restaurant. Our room was very small, but the bed was comfortable. We were given an itinerary and it had an acoustic guitar player from 5-8. We were told by several of the help that he would be play at the Oasis. Then we’re we’re bounced around several different Oasis areas only to find out he wasn’t going to be playing at all. It was very disappointing as we are adults and were looking forward to listening to live music and not fishing, building a bird house or playing cornhole. We ended up going back to our room around 6:00 pm with nothing to do. Earlier that day we went to the pool by the grill planning on swimming, but the pool was filthy and there were no towels. We went and got our own towels and because we said something about the towels they were finally delivered. We also noticed that the staff were staying from the morning shift into the evening. The views were great, but I have no plans on going back. Highly disappointed for the price we paid.
