Decent hotel for the price.

Spreads were a bit dated, breakfast was disappointing, good price and a good location. Overall a decent place to stay if you don't need any bells and whistles.

Nice hotel for the price

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Service, staff, cleaniness
Cons: Decor
Location: Short drive to Gunstock, Lakes; lots of places to eat nearby, Veterans Square seems charming.
The Landmark is clean, comfortable and a great value. The rooms and some items are outdated (rooms have actual keys), but very clean. Walls are a tad thin. Staff is very friendly.and helpful. Lobby is updated. Location is central. Continental breakfast is adequate. Unbelievable deals on this hotel make it worth the stay. Who needs trendy decorations if you save a ton of money? I would stay here again.

Conditions of Landmark Inn

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: The location was good for us.
Cons: Maid Service, Cleanliness, maintenance
Location: Because of the time of year a lot of things were closed.
Our experience was "Not Good". The first thing you notice was the elevators needed cleaning. We were there for six nights and the maid service was terrible. They never cleaned the mirrors, sink. or the toilet until I complained. Also they never dusted or vacuumed. Plus the hair dryer didn't work. The walls were so thin you could hear the people in the next room sneeze. You could hear their conversation like they were in the same room. It was a terrible experience. The air conditioning vents also were dirty. The "ONE" good thing was the bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was ok.

Nice, clean, comfortable, but needs updating

Posted Oct 24, 2014
The room at the Landmark Inn was clean, relatively comfortable, but dated and a little shabby. Not bad for the price or for not hanging out in the room for long. Would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who needs a cheap and clean place to stay.

A good deal.

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Price and location. It is right in the middle of downtown, which worked well for me.
Cons: The coffee comes from a machine and was awful.
Location: Downtown close to shopping and restaurants.
Pleasantly surprised. A good deal for the money. The place was decent overall.. It could use an interior facelift, but that's just cosmetic. Only one elevator worked but not a big deal. Not a very good breakfast even by continental standards but to each his own. The room was clean and had no problems. I would stay again and recommend to anyone who is cost conscious.

Okay hotel in downtown Laconia, NH

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Clean room.
Cons: Maybe a little updating of the decor.
Location: There is plenty to do in the Laconia area.
The hotel decor dates to the late 70's early 80's but our room was super clean. The beds were not memory foam, just average mattress and it was 2 double beds in our room so we each had our own bed. In the morning the hotel served a continental breakfast and you could get a good cup of coffee, juice, and a bagel with cream cheese. We had to attend a meeting in Laconia and just needed a clean, comfortable room for one night. This hotel meet our needs.

All you need on a budget

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Price, clean, staff.
Cons: Decor
Location: Food, shopping
I came to Laconia for a wedding and didnt wish to spend too much so i decided to stay here despite friends not recommending it. I figured for the price i could deal. I must say that it exceeded my expectations as ive stayed at far worse hotels for more than twice the price. Location is great, lobby is nice, continental breakfast included. Althought the decor is outdated it was certainly clean and comfortable.
