My First Stay at Hampton Inn NorthPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: See above!
Cons: Nothing that comes to mind.
Location: Football games are apparently a big draw for Waco I was there to ride the motorcycle flat track races that weekend.
The weekend I was there the hotel was booked solid. I was pulling a motorcycle trailer and I am not very good at backing up with a trailer. The staff helped me with providing some orange parking cones (courtesy of Mike in maintenance) and a place to pull in and out without having to back up. I was impressed with that as it was a tremendous help to me and the fact that they were 100% booked. The room was very clean and housekeeping service was outstanding. The breakfast provided was excellent and saved me time and money. I came away from the Hampton Inn North in Waco completely happy with my stay and will use them again the next time I come to Waco TX. I recommend this place as a top quality hotel and operation!

Great room but musty hallwayPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a very convenient location, our room was very nice for the price, and the service was extremely friendly, but water had somehow saturated the carpet in the hallways. They had a fan going the whole time we were there trying to dry it out, but the carpet remained squishy and it didn't seem like anyone was taking the effort to dry it out (towels, wet/dry vac, etc.). I don't know how long the carpet had been wet (it was by their indoor pool so that may have had something to do with it) but it smelled very moldy in the hallway. We were thankful the smell hadn't yet crept into our room.

Clean accommodations in WacoPosted Jul 3, 2013
Check-in was quick, the room was clean although the duvet was lumpy, the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory.
