Ok, so the channel selection on the TV was limiited and their wireless internet was horrible. It was open and unprotected so who knows who was using it. My son will be starting school there in the fall and if I ever come spend the night again, it will not be at this location.

We needed a room for just one night due to a ball tournament. The A/C was off so room was warm and took a few hours to cool off. The trash can was dirty and had some water in it, the toilet paper was less then half of a roll instead of a full roll. It was a place to stay.

Three night stay.

Hotel did not look very inviting. Staff was ok...tried to call desk on two occasions and did not get an answer. Loud knocking on door at 4am and tried to call front desk--not answer. Breakfast was ok, could have been cleaner and staff did not keep coffee refilled. Asked for late checkout and got an additional 30 minutes. Not much of a late checkout.

Close hotel to I-10, Convenient for shopping.

Posted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: The continental breakfast was great. Lots to choose from and plenty to eat.
Cons: More soap and shampoo would be helpful, as well as more towels. The door on the bathroom on room 223 needs repaired - the door knob wrong size 4 door.
Location: Shopping (Walmart) and close to I-10, could quickly get on the road to continue our trip.
The staff were very hospitable and tried their best to make us comfortable. We did have some missing bars of soap and towels were missing for our party of seven (2 adults and 5 kids), but I think for the most it was handled well. The shower tub had a slip-guard material that was coming off as we tried to put our 2 year old in for a bath. That quickly turned into a shower, but for the lateness of the hour, it was inevitable anyway.

In town for Alabama vs. ULLafayette Baseball

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Proximity to location of baseball field. Every member of the staff was extremely helpful. Security personnel at night. Well lighted facility.
Cons: Everything was satisfactory.
Location: It was a bit difficult to get from the main thoroughfares to the frontage roads and subsequently the motel.
The only problem was the fact Mardi Gras parades, baseball, and a fair being held simultaneously. Mardi Gras parade routes made it extremely difficult for an out of towner to navigate the roadways and to park. Certainly not the hotels fault.

Average stay

Other than the cigarette holes in the sheets in a non smoking room and the horribly slow wifi it was ok. The bed was super comfortable.
