We checked in and asked for a good place to eat that had, what my son called Soul Food. They recommended 2 places. We chose to go to Bon Creole and loved it.

The only downside was that I couldn't make or receive telephone service in my room--I had to go to the parking lot. This may have been due to my carrier (T-Mobile). Anyhow this was no big problem for me since I didn't spend a lot of time on the phone. They had excellent recharging outlets in the room for phone and computer.

Very nice for an overnight stay. The entry to hotel is difficult due to being located behind other buildings

Fairly new construction. Rooms are CLEAN and comfortable. Location is pretty much a straight shot to any points of interests in the area, whether business or leisure. The rates are high relative to the regional cost of living, but I surmise that this is for two reasons: A) There are a lot of oilfield professionals and technicians passing through this area (they'll pay it). And B.) to keep the establishment from becoming a one-night stand "hot stop" for locals.

Front Desk was very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. Also the air conditioning worked very well. Sometimes in a hotel the a/c does not cool the room properly. This worked just fine.

We were very pleased with rooms, the cleanliness if the overall hotel and the service. The one thing that we did not like and was pretty difficult is that they did not have cribs. We were traveling with 2 young kids.

Pros: EVERYTHING...only one downfall....it shows a spa tub onlline for this location, there is none, it has been replaced by a beautiful palm tree! i
I loved it , the front desk was very warm and welcoming. My room was most comfy , the bathroom was big and nice. The breakfast was really good , it was more than just bagels.....I enjoyed the variety ( different types of juice, breads, danishes, fruit, hot eggs, sausage and a waffle station).
