“Must try...”

We took a road trip from Houston, TX to Pensacola, FL and Atlanta, GA this is by far the most comfortable room we stayed in at the Staybridge suites. All 3 of us actually slept through our regular 5 am alarm! nice comfy king beds!

“Most comfortable room”

Staybridge Lafayette is a comfortable, clean, quiet and well managed hotel. Our large room (in the cheapest category) had a stove, full size refrigerator and a dishwasher. There was also a couch, desk and coffee table. It was laid out in a sensible manner to maximize comfort. There is also a comfortable living room area in the lobby for TV watching and use as a breakfast area. This is an extended stay hotel and the management has gone to some effort to make it a pleasant place for their guests. It is not a full service hotel, with room service or that kind of amenity, but there is a free laundry area with four washers, a basketball hoop and of course a pool and free internet. It was cleaner and better run than any big hotel I have stayed in. Lafayette isn't large and it is easy to get anywhere you want to go. The hotel is set far back from the street which helps make it quiet.

Friendly and helpful staff! The room was comfortable and clean and quiet! Liked the "Happy Hour". Breakfast fare was well above average. Because of the thanksgiving holiday there was no shuttle service to the airport so the staff called a taxi and paid for it! Awesome! Yeah, I'll return to this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel during a training seminar. The staff was from the front desk to the cleaning service was exceptional. Would stay at this and others in this brand name given the opportunity.

Hotel has a pool, hot tub, basketball court, excersice room and laundry room. Our room had a microwave, fridgerator, living room and 2 nice TV's.

Everything was great with one exception. The front desk clerk, although pleasant, had very little idea about directions in Lafayette. She could not direct me to the downtown area on Friday night. She said that she never goes down there. Luckily, the next day, the new clerk reached under the counter and secured a directions map for me ...advised me...and everything was fine.

I was very pleased with the suite arrangement. It was comfortable, the kitchen area, very efficient. I will be looking at other Staybridge Suites when I travel & definitely consider this one if I return to Lafayette.Do
