All I needed and more. Close to my activity. Cold A/C, hot shower, toilet worked well. More - Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Maker. Fridge. Even dishes and Cable Channels.
Sure some of the poor reviews are true. The furniture is cheap and scratched,
The common area walls need a paint job. If you want a really nice hotel, stay at the Hampton Inn or Courtyard. But be prepared to pay . Expedia gave me a great discount and I'm pleased for the price.

We had never been to Lafayette and be part of the Acadian-Cajun Festival. When we arrived, we could see where the whole city was alive and kickin' with excitement, good times and wonderful people!! The weather was perfect as well. We spent a good part of the day from one event to another, taking in as much of the festivities as we could. Stayed until we were too pooped to go on! After some rest, we again ventured off to other localities and see what southern Louisiana had to offer. We got to see first hand what sugar cane farming entailed. After a hearty southern fried meal(burp....), it was off again to admire swamps and marshes which makes up what southern Louisiana is known to have. Contrary to what one would think of such scenery, we found the whole experience absolutely breathtaking! And may I say, we also got a good dose of what they mean regarding that southern hospitality. It really couldn't get any better.....
