Excellent business hotel, although very expensive!

I stayed at the Radisson while on a business trip. The room I had was excellent and the hotel facilities were very good. I do think that the restaurants are hugely overpriced, which I guess is aimed at business travellers on expense accounts, but I felt a bit taken advantage of none the less.

Good but slow service

Good Ambience

It was great and the hotel had a good atmosphere. However, the water at the sea front smells and the water in room is slightly brown. Having said this I will be going back as its been the best hotel I have stayed in Lagos. Trust me, I am hard to please especially when I am spending hard earned cash. Lovely hotel, nice service at the front desk.

Nice hotel with beautiful view to the sea!

We've stayed at this hotel during the Easter holidays. Staff were very friendly and our room had a stunning view to the sea. We were given a nice bottle of wine on our tenth day as a courtesy for "Long Stay Guest". I will definitely come back!

Best of a bad bunch

Pros: Location, bar area, quality of accommodation.
Cons: Menu and AC/generator noise.
Location: Good location on the Island, which doesn't present a problem with travelling around if you arrange your day around not hitting traffic!
I have stayed in Lagos six times now. Five times in Ikeja in two different Ibis and once at the Best (Worst) Western. The Radisson Blu is infinitely better and I was glad to get a good deal to stay there. Hotels in Lagos are very expensive for what you get. Nice location, on the Island, with bar and pool area out back looking over the water a real bonus. Room good, if smelling a little of damp, which seems to be unavoidable in Lagos. I actually swapped rooms - when I was there they had some kind of generator on the roof making a hell of a racket through the night. Moved to 2nd floor from 3rd, but could still hear it. One let down would be the food. They have a buffet every evening which was good and varied, but pricey at around £35. Breakfast was varied, but not always warm and the orange juice really let the side down. The menu was no better than anywhere else 0 club sandwich, burger and chips etc. It was better than others, but I expected more. I will look to stay there again - if I get a deal!

Great Business hotel

I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it. However I would mention that the service has room for improvement. Also the prices are very high for food and beverages ($30 for a club sandwich!).
