To get a little closer to Alto Adige - South Tyrol’s heart and soul, spend a little time at the area’s most important religious sites, such as Dominican Church in Bolzano.
Nearby Palaonda, Bolzano is a great place to catch a game of ice hockey, and to see local legends, the Bolzano-Bozen Foxes, in action. On game days follow the sea of red and white, to the stadium, then after the full-time hooter blows, join local ice hockey lovers at a nearby pub, bar or cafe and relive the action over a friendly drink or two.
