“DO NOT STAY HERE”

Asked for a view of the Rhine River - but you can not see it from the hotel (5 miles away). This is the most out of the way, difficult way to find the hotel, having to weave through neighbrohoods and up hills. No free breakfast. No refrigerator. No coffee machine (said in the rooms). Our beatiful view was the third floor looking at the conference center roof. Nothing is nearby - shopping and restaurants seven miles away. Beds are old and hard, and pillows are old and feather balls.. No rooms have a view of the Rhine River. Spa closed six years ago, and most of the shops were out of business. The fitness center closed as well. Mainly a conference center.

“Far Far Away”

This property is located on a secluded hilltop. City bus or private car are needed to get down the hill, and then it's a 10 minute drive into Koblenz. The hotel has vacant stores and a closed spa. The scenery is lovely, but the place is desolate.

Traveler's tip
There is nothing near the hotel, but the village of Lahnstein offers restaurants and access to the Rhine cruise vessels.

“beautiful view”

It was a nice hotel but when we arrived they informed us that they did not have anymore double beds left. So my husband and I had to stay in two different rooms with single beds. On the bright side we had adjoining rooms.
