nice hotelPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: parking was free and very clean. The staff was proffessional and they spoke English well..
Cons: A ceiling fan or box fan for guests like us who are not used to the non-air conditioned rooms..
Location: It is about 15 minutes from Koblenz and there are many things to do along the Mosel and Rhine Rivers. Great location..
Only complaints the room was a little too small, no air conditioning, (AC) and no refrigerator. These are the only complaints.. Most hotels in Germany countryside and small towns do not have AC, but they normally have a frig with beer, water, juices etc.. The price was very attractive and it was easy to get to as well.. Would recommend to others..

AmazingPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was one of my best experiences in reserving hotels online. We definitely got more than what we expected. Our suite was located at 14th floor with a nice view from two sides to the forest and Rhein. It was very large and clean room with classy furniture. and all with reasonable price! The breakfast was also very good. We pay for that separately and it was a bit expensive. The weather was also wonderful during our mid-of-August stay. We enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended.

Quality hotel, but needs to look at staff attitudePosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good hotel. You can see back in the day this hotel must have been the place to be. The rooms have recently been redone and was very comfortable and also very generous in size. Hotels.com did however state that air-con and coffee making facilities are available in room. Unfortunately it was 32'C outside and the room was very hot, but we eventually got a fan for the room after having to fight with the staff for it. The view from the hotel is stunning and the restaurant is on the roof, which makes it a unique experience. I will return to this hotel in the future despite the staff issues.

Beds too small and toilet suffered from serious blow back during the daytime. Hotel were aware of this H&S problem but still booked people into the rooms on this level. They did however offer a refund after some discussion. Food was ok. Would not return or recommend this Hotel

Disappointing.Posted May 1, 2013
Pros: The parkland.
Cons: Felt like a ghost town.
Location: Near to the Rhine Valley and Koblenz perched upon the top of a hill amongst parkland and trees.
The description about this hotel was misleading: advertised facilities did not exist. A large part of the hotel had closed down when we visited and there was a general state of dilapidation about the whole place. This was a shame, because it is actually well located in parkland and a short journey from Koblenz and the Rhine Valley.

Great hotelPosted Jan 22, 2013
Beautiful location with amazing views from your window/balcony. A great hotel in a great region. Breakfast overpriced and not worth the money. Rooms large and comfortable.
