Ok, but in a need of remake
Check in was quick and friendly despite the late arrival. Room was clean and easy to find. However the hotel has already seen its best days and in a need of major remake. The rooms are kind of standard hotel rooms from -90s, kind of ok, but definitely far from fancy. I would also appreciate better mattress and especially the pillow, which had all sorts of uncomfortable lumps inside (I was too tired to complain about it though). Furthermore on site electric car charger would be superb, as the nearby shopping mall charger is only available during the mall opening hours.

Good basic services
Clean basic hotel, the room was a bit hot and we could not figure out how to turn down the heating. A small fridge, good TV, etc. A good thing the kitchen was open until 9pm. :)

Huoneet remontin tarpeessa.
Kylppärin suihkusta lensi vettä joka suuntaan. Kylpyhuoneen pöytä lainehti suihkun jälkeen vettä. Taso on Scandicilla valitettavasti romahtanut isosti. Tuohon hintaan ja neljällä tähdellä olisi hyvä tehdö joku remontti ainakin huoneisiin? Muuten ihan ok paikka. Keskeinen sijainti.

2 night stay. Ok hotel. A bit frantic at breakfast because staff weren’t clearing tables with any sense of speed so queues fir tables formed needlessly. Room cleaning was a bit haphazard. Superb shower. Good breakfast - once you get a table! Would go back.

Nice peaceful hotel
Nice hotel and well looked-after. Comfortable room and good service from friendly staff. It's nothing fancy but it's good value for a hotel in this region. Didn't have an iron in the room, which is unusual for a Scandic, but they did have an ironing room downstairs with the saunas. The restaurant was closed on the night I arrived as it was a Sunday, and Lahti itself isn't the most vibrant of places for eating out on a Sunday night! It's a quiet hotel in a quiet town, but it is well-placed in the centre and was very handy for my appointments. Easy to get to from the station too - nothing is far away in Lahti.

Hotel in the center of Lahti and that's the best a
The hotel is open 24 hours to any time arrival is a big plus point along with park, but this costs around 10 Euros a day or every 24hours, not bad if in the centre of Helsinki, but a bit expensive for a car park that's mostly empty. However, a strong point is that its on site, and that's the best aspect of this hotel. The room condition is poor with worn floors and leaking showers, however, they do clean try can clean what's there. However, in my room they emptied the bin and left the bag on top of my luggage, so they got a poor rating for this. also, on my 5 days there my room was cleaned once and towels never replaced. The breakfast is below average and the condition of the resturant lower half near the bar is very poor, the carpet has not change in 10 years since I've was once there, if not 10, at least 8 (2009). The resturant area near the reception is better, average, the rest is below par. I would rate the hotel as a 2 star. The Staff are polite and nice, so with Parking - 2 stars

Only three hours of darkness
Good location, nice clean hotel, fair breakfast, no air-conditioning so had to leave the curtains open to get air through the window and only had three hours of darkness in July!

A Practical Business Hotel in Lahti
I stayed at the Cumulus to attend the annual Classic Motor Show. The hotel is located downtown and was a convenient place to stay. The large parking garage was secure and very easy to access. The hotel is clean with friendly staff and a large restaurant and lobby bar for easy meetings.

Arriving blind for the unknown
We arrived for the annual Finlandia X country ski race, not knowing how 3 Brits who have never x country skied would fare. The comfort of a well positioned, well run and with a good social restaurant and bar scene with good food and drinks certainly made it all the easier on us. Perfectly happy to recommend this hotel as long as you are not seeking 5* luxury.

Lived there with a co-worker. The hotels location makes it very comfortable to reach everything and at mornings and evenings - the taxi cars were always standing outside the hotel. Overall the hotel is really worth the money. Will revisit it again.

Great location and good value for money
The hotel is nicely located in the city centre, with plenty of taxis across the street. My room was clean, and quiet until my neighbour started to shower at 6am. Hotel staff is helpful, and breakfast good and varied. I might try another hotel if back to Lahti, but still think this one offers a good value for money.

Not bad hotel at all, clean and quite small. In walking distance you can find a number of pubs and restaurants. Hotel was in the same building complex as the mall (don't remember the name of the mall).

Excellent Centrally Located Hotel
I stayed here with my wife in June 2013, visiting friends in Lahti. This is an excellent centrally located hotel. Complimentary Buffet Breakfast is included and has typical ample Scandinavian choices. Would recommend this modern hotel for both leisure and business. Staff all spoke excellent English and went about their business very efficiently and courtiously. Would definitely stay here again.

Good centrally located with easy access to all amenities. Large group from overseas staying in Lahti for a wedding and the hotel was very helpful in arranging transport and late checkout. Easy access to hairdressers etc. without having to go outside.

Unfriendly staff that are unwilling to help. Room never cleaned on Sundays!
Very average hotel in scruffy location. Rather expensive for the standard of room and facilities you get. The hotel is run down and in desparate need of a revamp. Room ready when we turned up but we had asked for a cot and kettle as we were travelling with a baby. We were told kettles were not available in standard rooms. We only wanted it to make baby milk but they made us upgrade to a superior room so we could have this "luxury" facility. We had a superior room but it was very average. No wifi, movie channels or any other facilities included with superior room. On our return from being out on Sunday seeing friends I went to reception as the room had not been cleaned and no new towels which had been left on the bathroom floor as requested. The receptionist stated that there are no housekeeping staff on Sundays. You collect your own towels from reception and the room stays uncleaned! The room rate remains the same and no where is this stated upfront. My wife is Finnish and we stay a lot in Finland when we visit there from the UK and this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. I don't recommend it. Stay elsewhere.

フロント・レストランの方が優しかったです。部屋の設備も期待以上でした。駅からは遠いですが、市の繁華街に位置しており便利です。ラハティスキーゲームズに関する本も置いてあり、現地のことがよくわかりました。

Erittäin hyvä perushotelli
Juuri sellainen hotelli ja majoitus kun vanhalta Scandicilta odottaa. Henkilökunta oli oikein mukavaa, yleiset tilat ja huone siistit ja opasteet kaikkiin paikkoihin löytyivät helposti. Aamupala on sama kaikkialla, mutta tässä hotellissa pääsääntöisesti mikään ei ollut missään välissä kokonaan loppu. Siitä siis iso plussa että ainakain tänä viikonloppuna aamiasipöydästä pidettiin hyvä huoli!
