It’s clean & functional, the bathroom was a nice size but the sofa bed was a bit of a tight squeeze. It's a 25min walk into town (downhill) / 30min walk (uphill) back. There’s a bus service from the main road but I didn't work out how to use it. There's a supermarket if you turn left & a late night newsagents if you turn right. The apartment is a great base if you have a car as parking facilities are good. The reception staff were a mix of very helpful & borderline rude. There’s a complicated out of hours entry system if you need to check in when reception is closed that requires you to have (and know you should have) received an SMS message with an entry code so you can enter the building & retrieve your key from the safety deposit box. I didn't receive an SMS or know I should have had one, was able to enter the building as another guest left & although she could clearly hear the conversation, because reception was closed was unable to obtain my key from the box. When a member of staff did emerge from reception to fill the box she then gave me my key but made no apology for the fact I would have been locked out if I'd arrived late at night. Another guest arrived at the same time as me with the same problem & was stuck outside until I pointed out to her that he was also in the same predicament. The phone number didn't connect. The room itself was quite warm, there's no air con/ fan & if it had been hotter than the mid 20DegC temp I experienced it would have been unpleasant.

Pros: Small handy kitchen,
Cons: Wired Internet connection
Location: You need to have some sort of transport to the centre of Annecy
Small rooms but practical, no daily room/ apartment service to change towels etc. Internet connection which was told is free but you need wire to connect to wall socket(it was not mentioned at the time of booking). WiFi is only available at reception area.

The staff at the apartments were always pleasant and helpful. The kitchen was very useful and the room a good size. The apartments are close to Annecy town centre too

Generally quite good, but definitely at the budget end of the range.

It was very confusing on how to enter the building. Hotels.com should have sent me instructions on how to enter the building and where to pick up keys. The front door is locked after normal hours. The process for entry is that a person entering into the building after normal work hours requires an electronic key code which I did not have since no one told me it took a code, and no one gave me the code. After I entered the building by tailgating after another person, there was a lock box and that required a code to get into the lock box. No one gave me that key code. I did not have a cell phone to call the after hours number with, so I had to borrow a cell phone to make the call. The whole entry process needs to be explained to hotel guests ahead of time, and guests need to be provided with entry codes.

Pros: kitchenette, free wifi
Cons: the shower fitting was loose and you couldn't adjust the shower properly
Location: about half an hour walk from the lake
The hotel is clean and well managed. There is breakfast if you like, but each room has a nice kitchenette and fridge so you can self-cater. There is a nice inside garden area with seats where you can check your email on the free wifi. The reception is not open all day. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Simple and straightforward.Posted May 19, 2013
Hotel was a little out of the way, but was reasonably outfitted. I really liked the system for late check-in, which was very easy. The pull-out bed was a little annoying, but was actually pretty comfortable. Not bad for a reasonable cost, particularly in super expensive France.

Very small room that smelled bad what a sofa bed instead of a real bed. Location is way outside of the city (30 minutes walk / 12 euros by cab). Reception is closed outside business hours.
