Very pretty placePosted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: airy and bright room, sunny terrace, great location, reasonable price.
Cons: no english channels on T.V
Location: 5min walk from the train station and city center. 5min walk to the lake
A very pretty place overall. The room was just about the right size for a couple and quite airy and bright with a nice little terrace to sit in, All furnishings and the kitchen was in good shape. The location was great - opposite a park which leads into the lake and the lane lined with cafes and restaurants. Also a 5min walk from the train station and the city center. Only negatives were that the shower was a bit cramped and though its good to stay away from T.V on a holiday, an English channel would have been nice preferably the news. Rest all good - book without thinking!

not a good placePosted Jun 13, 2013
The staff is not able to speak english, just a few words in german... Besides that, the credit card was not working... The room does not seem clean as well as the entrance of the appartments. Wifi woks poorly on the room, so the staff said "you can come to the reception to use the internet"... :/ On the positive side, the localization is very good

Great value for moneyPosted Jan 4, 2013
Apartment Bella is excellent value for money. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the lake and shops. The room was clean and spacious. Christian (the owner) was very helpful.
Very nice, but they didn't honor pricePosted Oct 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
The place was very clean and comfortable. Our problem was the price quoted compared to what we had to pay. Our reservation confirmation said "Room charges . . .Price per room per night (including taxes and service fees)." . HOWEVER, they insisted that we pay 1.5 Euro per person in Tourist Tax in addition to the fee quoted on Hotels.com.

Siofok 2012Posted Jun 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
Our stay wasn't what we expected going from the pictures advertised. The kitchen was very small for a 3 person bedroom with no space for a kitchen table as shown in one of the pictures. There was a lack of utensils in the kitchen. Privacy was a problem and made the stay uncomfortable as our balcony was shared with another room and the windows were adjacent to another apartment looking straight into the bedroom area. One of the pictures advertised shows a living room with a sofa and chairs which we never saw or were even made aware of. The bar appeared never to be open and we weren't told specifically how or when we could access it. Wifi signal was very poor in our room. Overall i found the quality very poor and not at all value for money.

Brilliant place to stayPosted Apr 10, 2012
Pros: Great location and a really good nights sleep.
Cons: Train & tram track at your back door but no trains run after 11pm and don't start very early so they don't really disturb you.
Location: Fantastic for everything you need in Siofok
Wow what a treat, the location for the lake and town is brilliant. Staff great and most can communicate in English too. The little town of Siofok is lovely and the parks are great for the kids to play. The lake is gorgeous. Apartment was really clean and comfortable no ovens although we did find a plug in two burner stove under the kitchen sink! Very compfortable and enjoyable stay. Just one thing to bare in mind though the hungarian people don't have a problem at all with people with a disability they just don't cater for things like wheelchairs! There are steps everywhere you go, even MacDonalds!!

Excellent accomodations!Posted Mar 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very convenient on all counts. Close to the train station, as well as the town square, and lake. Staff very helpful and friendly. That's where I'll stay the next visit to Lake Balaton/Siofok)))
